Rumored Nike Air Jordan IV Retro "Black/Cement Grey" 2016

Bred 1s, Bred 4s, White Cement 4s, Metallic 5s, Flu Game 12s? While 2016 may be lit, I doubt it can top'94 or '01 as far as retros although it may come close

D***, I wish I would've known about that restock. I've would've tried to get a second pair. I actually just finally unds'd my 2012's last Monday, the black midsole is already cracking....

I gotta hope and pray the rumors are true.
And...if they get the Nike air treatment,which seems plausible.
And they're releasing all our other favorites models...next year is lit !

:lol: as if the 99's didn't crack too lol. That's NT for ya though, where convenient amnesia runs rampant amongst the hypesters when it comes to a newer model. Only 4s I haven't seen crack are the 2015s and the jury's still out on that, just give it time and then we'll make final judgment on those. And I don't know about y'all but for all the flack dudes give the 2012 blk/cements, mines are still jet black and beautiful. Nothing wrong with that shoe IMO besides them not having NA on the back. The nubuck actually looks good on them and I don't have any problems that a nubuck/suede cleaning bar and brush can't fix.
 
My 2012s have not cracked on me yet either by the way, just saying. Not saying it won't eventually happen but just saying nonetheless.

Ithought the 99 midsoles were dyed not painted. I know the material is actually cracking now instead of the paint but I can't imagined that they cracked back in 99
 
Only bred IV's I have are from the countdown pack, and those did indeed crack.

However, my Toro IV's are much better quality to me and don't appear to come close to cracking at all.

Well, you need to re imagine that then bro. They cracked too. 3s and 4s have always cracked with time and wear. That's just the nature of the shoe. It's how they're made. If not then post me a detailed pic (taken this year) of a nicely worn 99' pair with perfect/unaffected midsoles.

I'm no expert, not have I owned the shoe so I was merely restarting what I've heard, but in looking at pics, I've come across these pairs that have not cracked. The only pair that has cracked ACTUALLY cracked, not just the paint.

If they do release, I'm going to try for at least 30 raffles. Idk how the 2012 release went but Nike air will bring everyone out

The white paint cracks as well on the 99' pair. The 1st pic has a noticeable paint crack near the air unit. 2nd and 3rd pic is not a very clear depiction of the white midsole, however in the 2nd pic I can still vaguely see white paint cracking along the outsole. And the 4th pic seems to be a VNDS if not DS beauty shot of the shoe which obviously won't show signs of cracking. For every pic of 99's posted with seemingly no cracking, pics of 2012s can be posted which also show no cracking. Doesn't mean they don't/won't.

My point is that the 99's were not some sort of God send of great quality from JB like dudes are making them out to be lol. They evidently had a lot of the same flaws that 4s have always been historically known to have. Only thing great about them was the OG-ish shape and the NA. Obviously the beloved durabuck didn't hold up on them either as you can see in the pics above.

Those are all pics of the OG's right @jaylaw15??? I know for a fact, that the first pair is.... I think the second and third pics are the '99's. Also, the last one, in which that pic is BLASPHEMY... ​

Yea, I know the biggest difference in the two is the netting. It didn't look cheap and flimsy like it did on the 99's...​

True, but they still looked better than the 2012's overall, you can't argue that. Also, you're a lucky man @dhtowng to have the 2012's with no sign of cracking yet. My pair started cracking the second time I tried them on. ​

Guess I picked a great (expensive) year to come out of retirement. Haven't seen any confirmed releases that I'm passing on, especially cannot pass on these
