indiglo 14- 8/13/16

The 14s were always interesting to me because of the variations and samples with/without ribbing.  The Jordan 14 was the first shoe I ever saw early samples of online, back when Niketalk was in it's infancy (don't be fooled by the "join date" of some members, some of us have been lurking since the beginning).  I remember searching high and low (which wasn't as easy before google) and finding sample images of the Jordan 14 including the Carolina 14 Mid (in case you didn't know, yes they made a Mid which was an Eastbay exclusive) and went crazy.  The Carolina 14 Low released instead, such a clean colorway and I copped immediately.  Can't wait for those to return but for now, I'll cop the Indiglo 14.  Also, the Oxy 14s sat forever and were considered bargain-bin Js where I'm from but to each their own, still a clean colorway. 
 
Can't wait for Oxy! I'm surprised we haven't gotten any pics yet.

Yeah I suppose so. We have pics of a Tech Challenge 4 Agassi shoe for 7/20 so pics should be showing up soon I would think.
 
^Every pic we get early now a days are fakes, it does mimic how the release pair will look very closely

On point post...even before NT caught steam, remember Nike Park and Pimptight.com? They had several pics of XIV samples and were the first to reveal the XVs to the world. And you're right too man about the Oxy 14s sitting and sitting. I think a few of us were surprised seeing them in-store because the Eastbay mag showed a completely different sample :lol: Just-4-Feet had them marked down to $90 bucks when I copped.

Thanks man. Nike Park! Wow that's awesome, yeah I definitely remember them and pimptight haha. Completely forgot about the change on the Oxys too, we lived and died by those eastbay catalogs right? As silly as it may sound, I remember where I was when I saw my first eastbay catalog.

Totally remember the UNC XIV's...

Eastbay was really good about putting up "PE's"...In point of fact the white / purple XV TB's were what I consider my first pair of PE's sneakers...Rocked those things into the ground with a Bibby home Kings Jersey...Even had Kaspars Kambala (UNLV heads know) stop me in a local mall asking where I got them...

What's even better is that these colorways actually sat...I remember passing on the UNC 14's for $99 I believe it was, simply because I'd already purchased the black / red colorway...
 
The carolina XIV low released WAY BEFORE the eastbay xiv mids were available


And the mids had majority big sizes. Idk if it even went under 10

I feel you on that. I used to love looking through the eastbay catalog at all the shoes I wish I could have. Now I don't want any of the shoes in it lol.
I just skim through it once and give it too my daughter.
 
Yea where are the pix? This is the only Jordan shoe I desire. The only colorway that hasn't made my mind numb with constant re-re-re-re-releases. The 1st retro is always the best.

I am in for these. Had two pairs of 14s in 8th grade. One of the unc blue lows. And the other the oxidized colors. Played on aau ball and school ball so I needed different colors...love the 14
