never had this c/w back in '99 so i'd like a pair, but for significantly under retail. just got charlotte 10s from fnl for $120. that's more like the price all retros should be going for. if i can get these for close to that price down the line i'll jump.

Same, never got to own these in '99 but I definitely want these right now! The lowest I found so far is $171, which is a decent price, but my greedy self is pretty confident that these can be had for even less...

Man...I love the small town life, but AGAIN, the only shoe store (FNL 45 min away) didn't get these. They've gotten diddly all year. About a half run of Metallic Vs (not my size of corse), and a FSR of Flu Games...that's been about it. I can't remember the last time getting to get a pair on release day.

I needed to size up. It's almost like the padding in the heel collar forces my foot forward. .5 up for me.
I love this sneaker, and this colorway is fuego.
Like others have stated, the craftsmanship is kinda subpar on these. I also had to look at 2-3 pairs before choosing the one with the least amount of flaws. Uneven tongues (slanted Jordan), non-symmetrical stitching and paneling, busted out air-vents. Smh b/c I absolutely love this retro. Gonna beat these down

I didn't plan on getting these, but I just happen to go on the SNKRS app at exactly 10am and at the last minute, I just decided to purchase them and it went through in less then a minute in my size 11. Is the Zoom Air responsive? I had the 2005 "Last Shots" and I remember them feeling like they didn't have any cushioning at all.

I use orthotics insoles on mine, Jordan insoles are trash IMO! Makes a huge difference.

I got em on right now and I'm thinking the same thing. The collar padding is so thick, like you said it's pushing my foot forward. I'm thinking exchanging these for size bigger. Nightwing said on his vid that you need to break them in to get the padding worn down but idk if that's possible. That's how thick it is. Other than the skeet stain on mine, I really love this retro. These > Black metallic 5s. Yes I said it!

Yup, I can vouch for that. I usually wear an 11.5/12 in sneakers, had to go with a 12 on these. The sales guy at the Nike Store at The Grove in Los Angeles was koo. The first two pairs he brought out he inspected them first, he noticed a few flaws. Finally the 3rd pair he brought out was perfect. I passed on the Metallic 5's for these.
