indiglo 14- 8/13/16

I don't know why I only bought one pair of these back on release day in 2016. My favorite OG XIV along with the black toe. Pair I bought still in great shape, but with the state things are in when it comes to buying the latest releases, and after the Carmine mess, I was pulling stuff out of my closet a few weeks ago while organizing. When I got to the Indiglos, I said dang, I wish I would've bought an extra pair of these. Started looking at prices, and most of them are too high. Couldn't find a DS pair in sz 11 for less than $265 before fees etc. Then suddenly one night about two or so weeks ago, someone threw them up on SX with a $200 ask. Jumped on it immediately. Definitely wish I had bought a second pair basically at any other point since 2016, considering how low prices were. But in the climate right now, I've got no complaints about the price. Loving having a fresh pair in addition to the pair I already had.

Mannnnn, there was a pair on SX last night in sz 11 for $215 or $225. Now it's gone and lowest ask is $350. Lowest ask on GOAT now is $380 SMFH. I LOVE these things, one of my favorite Jordans of all time, but those prices are stupid. Just stalk the listings everywhere like I did and hopefully you can catch someone who actually wants to sell a pair at a reasonable price and doesn't think they're sitting on a pot of gold. I mean, the mindset of some of these people defies logic: So someone sees the latest sale on SX is the $200 I paid, and thinks to themself, I'll list mine for $350, then. Last sale on GOAT is $265, and someone responds by listing for $380. Yeah, that's what the market is telling you is realistic :smh:
Keep hunting, though. You'll get them in the end, even if it takes a while. More than once I almost caved and pulled at $265-$275, but I'm glad I didn't. I chased them hard for 3-4 weeks before I found that come up.

Appreciate it bro. My eyes will be wide open. One of my favorite J’s period as well. But it wasn’t until this moment that it hit me that these NEED to be acquired. 230 on down, I’m jumping
 
I had 3. Sold two ds pairs for 225.00 a piece during the last dance fever. Mind you I paid less than retail.

Happy with my one pair.

Yeah they were commanding nothing forever, then made a big jump in the last year just like everything else. Kicking myself for not grabbing them when they were going for $50 or more less, but oh well. I should've bought two more pairs back when they were at those prices :lol:
Speaking of Last Dance, I can't believe it's basically been a year since it debuted. Damn.
