NFL Week 15 Hot Takes

Proud of my Chiefs, man. 8 in a row. Even when we was 1-5 I knew if we could string a couple wins together and get to the back half of our schedule we had a chance. Offense still makes me nervous.

Peters = Rookie Defensive POTY

What in the good world was Harbaugh thinking on that fake with the punter?

Norman and OBJ was cool for a minute but it was just embarrassing after a while.

I hope Zest wasn't trying to ear hole Norman. Trying to end another mans season. :smh:

Denver is who I told all their over zealous fans here who they are. No QB, no running game and a patch work O line. Defense is good but they aren't as dominate as people here in Denver make them out to be.

VD's drop yesterday......DT's drop yesterday

Zero adjustments made in the second half by Denver.

Pittsburgh scary on O but that D is vulnerable.

Brown made my guy Harris look normal for the first time even though that 26 yd PI call was 'iffy' at best

Giants roster talent isn't there. Just being in that abomination of a division this year heightens expectations. They should not be a playoff team normally.

Yup to both posts.

You only see Niner fans in these threads when they win

-Goddell better not suspend Odell for that ****, yeah it was excessive but come on.
Solid logic there... "But come on"

Don't get me wrong, I will be the first one sympathizing with safety's and DB who inadvertently make helmet to helmet tackles when the receiver dips their head or they just miss their target bc it's a bang bang play.

ODB play wasn't that at all. It was after the play was over, and a stationary/defenseless player who didn't even have the ball. It was a classless play and I don't have an ounce of respect for anybody who would do that. It's not the same as finishing a block of cleaning up the pile (which is also usually a cheap shot).

Luckily Norman was fine, but that's the type of thing that could do brain damage or jeopardize somebody's career/life after football. You don't use the crown of your helmet to launch at somebody's head from the side; that's garbage.

ODB is a great player but he shouldn't get a free pass for that at all. Every bit as bad and maybe worse than anything Suh has done IMO.
Helmet to Helmet hits happen almost every week, with  some having malicious intent and others not. ODB hit was during the playing, and pretty similar to clearing the pile.

I honestly can't remember too many suspensions for Helmet to Helmet hits, so I don't really see the precedent to suspend him.

ODB just happened to clear the pile with a dude he was fighting all day? Seems like a bit of a coincidence  ??

- we more than doubled our win total from last season & we probably won't make the playoffs :smh: :frown:

- #FreeMariota

- Teddy looked as good as i've ever seen him

- Captain Kirk is a starting QB in the NFL

- last but not least, this:

Eli: "I think everybody is attacking Odell. Norman came out and made his comments and Odell took the high road. Proud of him in that aspect."

Don't forget:
Eli on Norman: "To the media, he just cried a little bit. I don't think that was necessary. I don't think either one was in the right."

 at the mere thought of Coughlin taking Beckham out of the game. Beckham could have pulled a last boyscout on Norman and dude would have been in there to finish out the 4th.

Folks gotta realize...no matter how ****** up the things are that players do both on/off the field, WINNING trumps all. This is why Greg Hardy is employed and Beckham can get 3 PFs, almost make Norman brain dead, and still catch a TD in a critical moment.

If you have talent, the coach is gonna play you. Period.

NFL goes by a different set of rules.
