This startup will give you up to $10,000 for your wedding — but only if you’re willing to bet you wo

Interesting idea but I could see the company doing some shady **** like sending hired "help" to entice dudes to be unfaithful and increase the odds of a divorce.

Antidope is gonna be 80 on his death bed with a fortune in his bank account, and no good stories to tell.

Dude. 50% of marriages end in divorce, and many of those within the first two yesrs. They won't need to.

Interesting idea and definitely worth it for those looking to get married, because odds are this start up will have fail before your marriage does. I don't see this raising any if much from the VC's, but I suppose time will tell. Crazier ideas have been funded. But with the average marriage lasting 8 years in the U.S. and the median at 8 as well, seems like the cash burn is going to kill this company before it could even get off the ground.

I'm married, I love my wife.

Weddings are a huge waste of money it was a lot of fun but I'd rather have that bread.

I def see the cash burn hurting hem long term. Hell it seems hard to collect 10K with interest even if a couple fails within the first 30 days.

If they have a large enough backing they are sure to make some money in the long run.

I damn sure ain't bout this life tho.

Even though 50% of marriages end, it's not exactly what it sounds like. Most people who get a divorce, is mostly likely to get another divorce/s. That's what makes the divorce rate so high.

VCs jump at every possible idea. This has good intentions behind it, but $10k?

You and your wife can accumulate more than that together.

Expensive weddings are dumb as I've said before. Colossal waste of money that should be used towards something with equity as opposed to a 30k party.
I don't agree with 99% of what u say but I agree with this. I wouldn't spend a penny over 10k and even that's pushing it. 30k for a wedding is out of control f that

This is actually pretty dope....lol

Money breaks em up, money can also keep em together.....I legit feel a lot of people divorce prematurely, like if people sat down and actually though the problems in their relationship through and search for a solution they will stay together.
Communication is key. Been with my significant other for 4 years. Been living together for 2. Any problems have been fixed over a night of talking it out. We are aiming to marry for Aug of 2017. Thanks for the post OP.
