If you play into the hype and dont look for deals sure you're gonna overpay..You can get OGs for under $400 WHY would you pay $500 for 03s?? Deals are to be had IF you're patient..You just wait for a deal in your size, not just go pay through the nose bc its the only pair in your size AT THE MOMENT. Seems like a lot of you guys overpay to have it right NOW..The instant gratification complex makes you guys mindless spenders simply to impress other dudes. 
Also a remastered version pretty spot on to the 03's are set to release in May for $190. No way id drop $500 on some Bred 12s.

I agree..They probably wont be AS good, but the look is there..Not that stupid nubuck BS from last time around.. and $300 cheaper..My point is still the same MOST of you guys are overpaying on the daily bc of hype..Just buy the OGs for less ~$300-$400..You gonna tell me the 03' is better than the OG?
