Let me preface this by saying I've been a Ye fan before I even knew who he was back when he was strictly a producer. College Dropout is still one of my all time favorite albums. His Nike x Yeezy collab's are a podium finish when it comes to my grails, still on the lookout for a pair. But did he really say Yeezy over Jumpman in the track? Bruh, are you F'n kidding me? See, right there Ye already looses credibility. The fact that Jordan changed the sneaker game FOREVER and has dominated the sneaker game FOREVER and it would be hard pressed to see any other dude surpass Jordan/Jumpman/GOAT as the elite sneaker brand. Just because you have your name on a few Nike's from a few years back and you are the head honcho at All Day I Dream About Sex with the new Yeezy line isn't even a pin/haystack in the history and the future of what Nike//Jordan Brand has brought and will continue to bring when it comes to their lineups, not even close bro. Take that overpriced "looks too big on everyone" crew necks back to those low wage factories where they belong.
J's & Nike's have been illest since at least '85 with about a gazillion classics made. The Yeezy line will Never reach the magnitude of the Jordan Brand let alone Nike in general. This is coming from a guy who owns AJ's and Yeezy's. But let's be real here Ye. Maybe you're doing this strictly for hype/pub or maybe you're doing this because you truly think they are Facts. Strictly your opinions B. And cannot wait for Drake to make a diss track as a rebuttal because we're about due for a high profile hip hop beef.

I think the real question is why is Ye still ranting about Nike like a long term girlfriend that just broke up with him? Ive been a kanye fan even before i knew what yeezys were and before i got involved with shoes but i mean sure kanye got what he wanted with adidas because adidas wants that hype that kanye brings to take down nike. but why yeezy hung up over nike though. Yes you are not an athlete and they didn't care for yeezys and your art form of fashion. Which honestly i think nike underestimated the power of kanye at the time by laughing him out the door. But in terms of hype, yeezy over jump man, but when it comes to die hard sports fans and older heads, jump man over yeezy. i had to speak my piece about it. and if you think that Drizzy, (or nike) is gonna respond to a diss song its a pipe dream we all imagine would be true. Now if only a nike executive could hop on soundcloud and spit a quick 16 for Kanye as a response that would blow up the internet

Unfortunately, you can't talk sense into some people. People think NT is life and one year of hype equates to control of the market. Kanye is good for a laugh occasionally and clearly not a dumb man, but I think he believes his own BS at times. He's hot right now, no doubt, but there's a ton of ground to make up if you're Adidas. Unless Nike/JB implodes, can't envision it happening close to any time soon.
Even Kim looked better when Ye was with Nike lol

You can make any sneaker limited and it will sell out, but not every sneaker can move a million pairs in a matter of hours. Nike/Jordan Brand stand alone in that category.

Dudes in here defending jordans and sneak dissing ye and adidas in the damn YEEZY thread like they werent just trying to get this last release staying up all day,waiting on every site,doing raffles and checking emails and tracking every 30 mins lol.Aint no one buying bras for jordans or caring when nike ships or calling reps to see if the order goes through like that lol.Dudes in here legit stressed over their orders lol.On monday many members getting bras lol. Now ofcourse ye cant top jordan overall because of the pure amount of classics and years.... but at this point in my life im definitely not buying jordans on a regular basis or looking for many new releases every year.
Id definitely rather wear a 350 than a jordan but thats me being older and jordans not being my style anymore except for 1s,3s and 11s.But as far as hype ye/adidas got it right now and jordans are hurting in that aspect but putting out a new colorway weak a** shoe every week could do that with any brand.Hell RF died real quick when he simply just bumped up production on a few of his shoes lol.But although resell is great with yeezys Id def wear 350s in all colors if they were a GR.Hell my favorite shoe is a chuck taylor.
Im just glad he releasing shoes as much as he is.I had no chance when he was on nike and who knows if nike wouldve made anywhere as many different models as adidas.5 in 1 year aint bad at all and if the rumors are true next year folks gon really get a chance to buy more.
