Is this a known thing that adidas usually does? Have more pending charges than what has been ordered?

happens on most sites when an order doesnt stick they still hit the card with the auth charge, falls off when the payment doesnt settle due to not being tied to an order, check your bank account for the settlement date expected and thats when it will usually come off
