Obviously OBJ couldn't make that distinction because he definitely took exception.


That tells me everything I need to know. It wasn't just some run of the mill trash talk. it wasn't even Jordan-level "I'm making you reconsider your life" type of trash talk (word to Muggsy), it was straight up hate speech (though I did hear that MJ did say some ugly **** to Kwame Brown something from time to time).






Now please, get out your feels and take a walk or something. You've been done for the past two pages. Log out and actually be done because thus far you've added zero in the way of valid rebuttals and zero in the way of logical argumentation and really you're batting .000 tonight kid so I would quit now if I were you.

The NFL found no evidence.


But Michael irvin and Deion Sanders both said that OBJ has been subject to these types of slurs before.



I'd take their word over the league office.
 
I'm not trying to be political or anything, I don't even care about Odell, I am a Cowboys fan(insert jokes), but he is a good receiver and I won't discredit that. Now, whether he is gay, I don't know nor do I care, that's his business. I've competed in sports and it's gotten heated, and I've said things that I shouldn't have, and I have had some things said to me that shouldn't have been said, so I know about how intense competition can be, the only issue I had with this whole thing is Odell has every right to feel how he wants and if he wants to retaliate, at least be a man about it and straight up square off with dude, don't get a running start and try to blind side dude with the helmet to helmet. Dude didn't attack Odell's sexuality in the media or other back channels, he said what he said to Odell's face. The very least Odell could've done was square off with him.

You talking about someone's livelihood and personal safety with that bs. That wasn't even heat of the moment, that was premeditated, he had at least 10 yards to think that coward act out. Who cares what was said, or if the man is gay or not, it was a bush league thing to do, no matter how good he is, or in some opinions isn't. It was a *** move.

The discussion was about his sexuality, I said it shouldn't even be a point of contention. I basically said that I didn't care about what he did to Norman.




Nothing more.



Sure I'd like for certain things to change, but that's a topic best reserved for its own thread. But as far as this whole situation, I do believe OBJ's word over the NFL's.

I hate the Giants (eagles fan here) and I could see ODB being the best WR in the nfl. Antonio is good but I think he mostly burns people and has Big Ben's canon to get it to him. ODB is on another level with the acrobatics, athleticism, and snatch in the ball out of the air. I didn't realize ODB was best WR good until they showed his stats for his first 25 games vs every other WR past and present (which someone brought up in this thread)

And if he's gay. Then let him cook. He'll finally be the superhero that the lgbt community has asked for. Not some second string Jason Collins or practice squad level Michael Sam player.

P.s. Norman and ODB were about on the same level of dirtiness until he took that cheap helmet to helmet. That was a little OD

I think OBJ has been more consistent this year and a better end-zone weapon. I don't see any facet where Brown is better. Not route running, not catching, not running after the catch.



I personally think OBJ is the better player. But I can respect someone saying Brown or Julio is #1.



I'll concede that Big Ben getting hurt likely hurt Brown's numbers but at the same time he himself was playing poorly and was doing a lot of complaining with Vick instead of trying to make it work. Martavis Bryant had no trouble doing his thing with Vick.

AB is most definitely better after the catch than odell.  and martavis popped off with jones not vick.  as soon as vick got benched he went off
 
if you think Odell is a better route runner than AB you dont know much about the position

:lol: That's a stupid comment. Brown and OBJ are about on par as far as route running. OBJ runs routes to perfection, prove me wrong.

AB better after the catch than Odell? News to me.



Especially considering the fact that when Odell catches the ball he goes for paydirt more often than AB who sees far more targets and has more receptions.




But whatever :lol:. Numbers mean nothing. Their YAC is about on par, but their TD numbers tell a far different story.
