Exactly. Nothing has been on par with the original RETRO run. Your now agreeing with me. Every OG CW has been trash quality.

You still can't provide me any proof of what you claim. I'm still waiting on a Ban pic where the X can't be seen. Your all talk and can't provide any evidence of what you claim. You literally are taken issue with me saying I don't like the X. You must work for JB. Everyone doesn't like the same things. Accept it.

This was your original post to me. You claim I don't know what I'm talking about because I don't like the X? I think it's just as dumb as a jumpman on back. That's called MY OPINION. Your free to disagree but how does my opinion lead you to believe I don't know what I'm talking about? You just wanna argue for some reason. I was clearly talking about OG CWs and you brought up Bins?

You said after '07 Jordans are trash quality. Yes, you don't know what you're talking about. That was my basis.

If you don't like the X, you don't like the X. It is a tribute shoe to the original. There are good reasons for it to mark the "banning" of the original. There are good reasons why the value is so high. It's also a collector's piece.

Now you're going to backtrack and say you were talking about OG colorways. :lol:

I'm done going back and forth, not going to completely derail the thread. You clearly don't know that much.

Yes the Bins have good quality but those don't matter to ME. I was only talking about the Js I would personally buy. The OGs since 07 have been bad.

You come in here spewing instead of simply asking me what I was talking about. You took it upon yourself to make a assumption I meant all Js. I'm only talking about the ones I personally like. OGs 1-14. Next time ask what a person means instead of talking first.

Ok, if you are talking OG colorways I have to agree. Since '07, I only bought the ones that I thought were pretty good...'07 Playoff 8s, Banned 1s, and Playoff 12s. If we are just talking OG colorways, you're right, the quality has been lackluster.

I apologize. I thought you were talking ALL retros after '07...which there have been great ones, just not OG.

The overall quality and rarity of the '11 black/red 1s has bammas straight blinded as to what a gimmicky facsimile to the OG they really are.. glossy leather, cut, liner, rolled edges, X etc

Really not sure why there are multiple threads but whatever lol I'll post in all of em.

Pretty sure the OGs will know where and who this comes from. Regardless, to clear up some of the rumors about the Blk/red 1 coming in 2016:

The first person to comment on this release had seen a sample remastered Blk/red NA OG HI 1 this past spring, and knew Fall 2016 was the planned release time (Side note: he was told Royals scheduled to be remastered mid to late 2017 in the same preview). Said quality was great, compared them to SBB's when those released. Better than new Chicago's/UNC's remastered pairs, not not quite 2011 Banned level or as distressed styled. Dino posted about a bred 1 coming in fall 2016 with a style number a couple months back and the blogs jumped on it and said it was Banned 1's. Everyone started sharing that and it died down. A few days ago, J23app loaded a bunch of release dates and info, with the bred 1 being one of the items. All of the blogs tried to confirm a banned 1 retro based off of that. That is not the case. The release is a remastered OG 1 High. J23 did not say it was a retro of the 2011 banned 1. He doesn't want blogs saying that he is the source of confirming this shoe is a Banned 1 retro. No source information points to that at all and there is a real sample remastered OG bred 1 Hi and no real sample Banned 1 retro. The description of "Banned" is in a computer system that showed the same description in December 2013 as well. Just like people in forums and social media sometimes call all versions of bred 1's "banned 1's" as if it were the name of the colorway.
