The "white" upper isn't painted, and the black doesn't seem to be either according to someone who posted pics earlier in the thread. Other ones all seem to be painted so far.

Cleansed! The black speckles does tone down the white sole some. Agreed would love to see how the XDR grey sole would look on these.
