Just watched his. Not sure what he means that the retail version has TPU strands and that the ids don't (they do).

Also, could the quality be worse because it's coated with a layer of paint? I have the black upper and it's fine, I see the tpu strands.

Yeah, that could definitely be the case. Paint does act like like a layer of glue on porous surfaces.

I figured it may be slightly different from the GR pairs but to say they're the same as the 9 flyknit is going a little overboard.

My IDs are finally arriving today so I'll be able to come to my own conclusion. It was a loong wait lol.

Well, I finally got my XI IDs and they look great!

However, I think Weartesters was right —the upper is more like the 9 flyknit than the GR 11 flyknit 2.0. It looks like the flyknit 2.0 and it has the TPU threading but it doesn't flex the same. It also seems like they fuse the back a little bit. It doesn't have the same rough threaded feeling as the GR pairs. 

The black is more charcoal than black. There seems to be grey weaved into it and it has a sheen similar to the X elite. I wouldn't have a problem with the color if the flyknit was more like the GR release pairs.

One plus is that the full zoom feels great. Its very firm and it gives a more cushioned feel. The problem is that its a little thicker than the lunar insert. This plus the upper having less give made them tight for me out of the box. I put the full zoom in my BHM and I didn't have a the same problem. I also think you can get away with just using the Lebron XI insert. The Kobe 11 insert is a little firmer but they're close to the same thickness.

The XDR doesn't really feel harder than the regular solid sole but I like that its dark.

If you like the Kobe 9 elite low you probably won't have a problem with these. I personally like the flex and give GR 11 more than the 9 Elite. 

I'll probably ball in these outdoors.

But they had a few slip ups main one the shoe laces was supposed to be white with silver trims not black n silver and the heal color sheet is supposed to be silver the left shoe marks are silver but the sheet symbols white... Wow when I asked them if they were gonna be late but I didn't say rush n F up my shoe's

Nice iD's! I really like them.

I prefer the black laces over white laces, but that's just my taste. Regarding the messed up heels, I would definitely  contact nike for a discount code and make them re-do your pair.

No, just the coloured ones. But in the video he's comparing s painted upper to a regular one. So it might feel off cause of that.

So talked to ndc customer care they said if I wanted to I can wear them and they'll create another one... It'll take 4 weeks to fix but I decided to keep them... But I'm glad they game me a discount code for the Lee's coming out... So today's a win... Thanks for opinions guys. Much appreciated... #fadetoblackheelsIDs I guess I'll call them that.
