But this is a commemorative and tribute to Kobes career not just a new design Nike made up like the multi color when it sold out! I say we go crazy about. I've been collecting Kobes since the adidas days and this ID sums up everything. if people buy Kobe, lebron, KDs WTK with no significance their career then why won't people appreciate this more?

I think it's going to be super under appreciated right now but a couple years down the road itll be hard to find, Nike could've done so much more with it but I personally like it

For me, Nike ID is about creating a shoe that no one else has. Why would I want to ID a pair that looks exactly like someone else's design? Granted, some designs end up being ugly af when they get too creative. However, I can't knock someone for thinking outside the box and trying something different, as opposed to going with default pairs (or worse, Kanye colorways).

Now, with that being said, Nike ID is also about creating a shoe that you're happy with, so if someone is ok with turning off their imagination and choosing the default shoe that Nike feeds them, then hey, go for it. *kanye shrug*
 
As long as everyone's happy with their pairs, that's all that matters. I think the "salt" comes from them being sold out already so we see someone else's options that turned out nice, we wish we made that same pair, or we get them in hand and they don't look as good as we thought they would and the ragrets start to come because our hands are tied. I think that's when playing it safe is ok, we already saw Demar wearing the standard "no imagination" pair, looked good enough for a lot of us, so thats what was ordered. 
 
Haven't had a started email yet. My delivery date is 6/24 should i contact nike customer service or should i wait a little more?

It would be pointless to contact them imo (unless you're calling to cancel). If your shoes haven't been delivered by the estimated delivery date, then I'd call. But keep in mind that the delivery date is estimated and not guaranteed.

If the EM's don't come back on ID, then yeah a little lol. But I'm starting to see more pairs I like. Especially the ones with gold tongues.
