AT&T ending two year contracts in Janurary.

Thoughts?

I work for the company at a corporate store as an retail sales consultant. Things are gonna get real interesting for our consumers who have unlimited data.

P. S. I recognize I misspelled January. My b lol.

i have unlimited data .. I just got a letter saying my plan is going up $5 a month starting in January .
 
I jumped ship to Verizon a couple months ago. Got tired of all the people at the kiosks and stores not really knowing how to help me with keeping my Unlimited Data, but when I was cancelling / moving all of a sudden every customer service agent in the world knew how to keep it for me. :rolleyes
 
Att is gonna mess around and kill there own business . They have been digging for ways to get me and others off of unlimited .
If they take mine away , I'm gone to Verizon . The only thing keeping me with them is my unlimited :lol:
I've been with them for 10 years and have 5 phones on my account . I'm getting tired of them and this BS
 
T-Mobile has changed the game, they are putting pressure on Verizon and AT&T. They already have surpassed Spring to become the 3rd Largest Carrier.


I've followed the stock, and it went up $15 in 6 months, I see them making great strides in 2016.

I noticed this, too.. sometimes it would be lightning fast, faster than wifi. Other times my FB feed wouldn't load, IG pictures would take 20 seconds to load, etc. :smh: They be secretly pushing yall out of existence for a minute now.
 
I have unlimited data and AT&T can pry it from my cold dead hands. So does this mean I'm paying full price for upgrades from now on?

All these cell phone companies are despicable. I've given up on ever calling AT&T's CS line because every time I do I end up cussing them out in a rage and hanging up.

No complaints with their speed. I live in CT
 
gave up my unlimited data when i added 2 more lines on my account...no regrets tbh.

too many wifi spots around to worry about usage

I just joined AT&T from T-Mobile to join my family's plan. Next year after I pay off thi iPhone, I'm going back to t-mobile and getting my prepaid plan back
 
So i have a two year contract and always upgrade in september with the new iphone(just numbers, no s). Wonder if this will have any effect
 
Maybe its me but it sounds quite dumb to go to VZW from ATT because ATT is taking your unlimited data when VZW doesnt have unlimited AND cost more. lol I`m convinced dudes are just talking out of frustration. ATT isn't losing sleep, and most of their customers can't leave because its probably the only thing that works for them and VZW doesnt have unlimited either.
 
It's funny seeing the negative reactions to this around the web.

People really liked those overinflated monthly rates, I guess.

The point is that ATT sucks and the only reason to keep it is the cheap price with truly unlimited data... If they take that away. Why pay for garbage service? Pay few dollars more and get basically the best service money can buy

If they take my unlimited I'm not going to keep paying for atts service .
Couple of dollars more and you got the best service out there.

That's exactly what I started experiencing the last couple of months, shortly after they announced they would not be throttling data after you reach the 5gb threshold...
but I'm getting rid of mine likely next year & probably moving to Verizon, just going to wait until the next iPhone/iPad comes because I'm moving to a mobile share plan most likely. My phone service has been suspect in random spots the last couple of months too, they're messing around too much for me. Been with them since 07 but I'm cool on the games with my service.

ATT isn't cheap. If you want Cheap and Unlimited then go to T Mobile.

ATT and VZW pretty much have same coverage and only reason someone picks one of the other for the most part is if they are in a rural area and only one of the carriers work.

Anyone in a Major Metro area that isn't on Tmobile and pays for their own bill is losing lol.
