Damn, is it kind of sad that I expected a HORRIBLE draft from the Dolphins? Even with Tunsil available, I still expected the Dolphins to get it wrong somehow...

They went and actually did a pretty good job. Still won't erase 20+ years of sucking, but I still have zero faith in them.

I'm kind of sad/disappointed cause I wanted to hear sports radio go off on them if they did do a bad job.

I agree. Many are thinking this stems from the fins getting rid of his "insider" in Miko/Brent, so now he's lashing out and trying to gain another disgruntled player for access. Dude's gotta go. No need for injecting negativity into a man's life who just got signed to play football.

He was trying to be Miami's Skip Bayless but now it's gone too far.

Tell ya what, we have a lot of projects, and we need Gase/Joseph to really hone in and make the players better and smarter than they were with Philbin's lame teachings and preparation, but......

If they can get anything outta Wake/Mario, with Suh, Philips, and Branch/Jones as backups, along with Earl Mitchell, and maybe Chris McCain.....

And maybe move Dion Jordan to OLB........:nerd:

Suddenly, we go from terrible, to maybe halfway decent at least, with a better offense, suddenly the team looks a little stronger in the short term. Draft heavy on D next year, and then the team has a little more balanced youth on both sides and look a little stronger on the long term.

IF, Gase is the real deal, and can actually coach players up, instead of down like Philbin.
 
Looking at the depth chart, it becomes interesting to see who makes the team, esp at the d-end position.
 
FORMER OREGON CB IFO EKPRE-OLUMU RECEIVES FULL MEDICAL CLEARANCE

Ifo Ekpre-Olumu has been cleared to play for the Dolphins

The Cleveland Browns drafted Ifo Ekpre-Olumu last year in the 7th round. He was projected as a top 10 pick before suffering a major injury his final year of college football at Oregon.

The Browns drafted him and sat him out the entire year hoping he would rebound and have himself a nice recovery. Well that didn’t happen and the Browns released him. The next day the Miami Dolphins claimed the 6’0 corner, and today he received good news.
