eyy i guess the hype is real, lets hope for a really good season fellas
I only see that happening if we trade back.[/B]Man I hope we land Karl Joseph
mayock's mock draft got us pickin up myles jack at 14 i hope but it happens if we trade back, im down with karl joseph too
Nobody knows. Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith are the biggest wild cards in the Draft. A healthy Jack goes top 5 easily, but every organization's medical staff will vary with their assessment. It ultimately comes down to your GM's trust and willingness to gamble. What's the status of his knee injury? If he's good to go I can't see him slippin to 14

I will say Oakland going Jack at #14 carries significantly less risk than a team like the Jags picking him at #5.
Raiders had one of the best offseasons in the entire NFL. Re-signed Penn. Added Osemele (who was quietly one of Baltimore's best OL), Smith, Nelson, Irvin. Player personnel defensively is vastly improved by virtue of those last three acquisitions. Nelson has 12 INT his last 32 games. For $10M-per, I like Sean Smith a whole lot more than the deal NYG gave Janoris Jenkins. It's clear Irvin's head and heart were no longer in Seattle last year, there's no reason he can't be an 8-to-10 sack guy.
