The more I see of Ragland the less I like, especially where we're at in the 2nd.

I never liked Ragland. He's a 2 down LB. I would rather take jack or Jaylon than Ragland in the 2nd.
 
Jaylon I think is done. Reading about his injury, seems the likelihood of him being near the player he was is nil.

Respectfully disagree, fellas. Raiders would be getting a lot of value at #44 with Ragland. He's not this new breed of superior athlete. Type of player that just knows how to play football. Knack for the game, can't teach instincts. Very steady and consistent. The knock can be limited upside. Your point about two-down player, I saw results where Ragland's pass rush and coverage skills are improving. He boded well considering against Hunter Henry, the consensus #1 TE in the class. Ole Miss' Engram too if you want more examples/tape. Ragland should be ready to contribute from Day 1.

We have twins on both sides of the ball. This defense could become a nightmare.

Develop him, have a capable back up when McGloin leaves, trade him for value as time goes on.

I get it now. You would think that there are positions we could draft for that would be good depth, but Reggie I'm sure has faith in his scouts and himself to find those diamonds in the rough as the draft goes on.
 
Shout out to the Raiders for drafting my frat bro Calhoun. Can't wait to see him throw the bOW on the field. Not a Raiders fan, but I will be cheering for him.
