just speculation.. he's on the last year of his rookie deal

my personal view is that he and ertz are pretty redundant as players.. ertz's deal will seem reasonable by what dudes will get this offseason and moving forward

also, I want us to put a quicker player with far better hands in the slot

I would prefer to keep JMatt but that would mean we picking up Alshon/drafting Dalvin (or CB) or signing Bouye (or Trumaine Johnson)/drafting Davis. Either scenario is still good but JMatt and Ertz are too similar, especially when the latter plays up to his potential during December/January

At first I thought hell no but the more I think about it it actually would be very intriguing. Howard is practically a receiver with his route running ability and insane size plus he also loves to block. One of the better TE prospects in a while IMO for that reason. Howard and Ertz would be a nightmare for defenses. However, if Corey Davis is still on the board thats who i want over anyone including Mike Williams. Really think Davis will be a special special player in the league he's the complete package.
 
We need a special player.. OJ Howard has that talent in him

As far as just offensive guys, I have him 4th.. maybe a tie with Williams the more i think about it for 3rd spot


Gotta see what speed the CBs got.. but I think we'll have a shot a a solid cb at top of 2nd

Barnett is also possible.. hell maybe Solomon too

i think ryan Mathews is next

then hopefully DGB and tobin.. maybe brooks

still holding out hope we can at least get something for barwin, kendricks and kelce
 
Ron Brooks may actually stay for the nickel slot. He isn't terrible (like McKelvin) but isn't a starter. Secondary wasn't that much of a liability until he went down
 
Mills should be our slot guy..


Can't count on brooks having the quickness after coming off that injury.. plus he makes decent money
 
Mills has the quickness to play the slot but his best strength is getting physical with receivers (which is hard to do in the slot). Remember Mills was just returning from a broken leg so he might still regain his speed
 
We can free up 1.6 mill cutting brooks

I hope we sign someone who can be the main guy.. then draft falls our way where we go CB in the 2nd and 3rd

Hell very realistic we go CB in the 1st and 2nd
