Schwartz was the best hire IMO.

I really hope we keep the tandem at S, would be pissed if Thurm leaves, especially if he reunites with Chip
 
Biggest question with that is, our corners suck so who fills that spot? Rowe actually looked good at corner I'd personally like to see him stick there.
 
I don't know what Schwartz wants in his safeties, but from what I've seen thurm do last season he is solid there. Always seemed to be around the ball and was a willing tackler for the most part. I'm tired of the safety carousel we've had so I'd rather just keep it the way it is. Idk if Schwartz wants that mirrored look at safety or a more traditional FS SS look.
 
If Rowe can handle himself at CB you keep him there.. If he doesn't have the hips for it, then you move him to safety

Hopefully we resign vinny.. And with our DTs moving back to a single gap attacking scheme and our DEs in attack mood in the 4-3.. Sack numbers should go up, which obviously helps the secondary

Remember under chip, he had Billy playing a 2 gap responsibility for the line, which had them reading then reacting

Yeah it's really Gronk > the rest

But reed took over multiple games last year ..ain't seen that out of Ertz yet

Hopefully Pederson uses him how he used Kelce
 
I don't know if I can blame him though.. I put it more on the coaches and our crap QB play

Not to say he's been perfect.. But we've all been saying how much bigger his role should be.. And each of the last two years he has finished strong giving hope of what could be

But he's had moments where you see it, just needs the consistency
 
Greg Olsen is a good comparison..

Going be interesting to see if Matthews is moved out of the slot and replaced with huff.. Then ertz gets feed the ball
 
Yea Huff gotta be in the slot , so do we have plans on drafting a receiver this year or signing Alshon ?
 
I feel like qb is more important than going after a WR. Remember how the Lions drafted receiver after receiver with no qb and remained awful
 
Don't think we should draft a receiver this year at least not in the early rounds. Can;t keep investing high picks on receivers especially when we have so many other holes on this team. Wouldn't mind going after a mid tier guy in FA who is a downfield threat and hope that Agholor pans out.

Also, especially now with that extension; Ertz has to take that next step and Matthews as well.
 
If we draft a WR this year, it's after round 3.. Guy who can contribute on special teams, 4th or 5th guy

If we don't go QB in the first, it's tackle (right tackle replacement) or secondary

^ I saw something about that rumored on Twitter.. And saw he responded to the rumors

But if I'm in charge, unless chip offers something for him.. I don't see a point of outright cutting him

We have other lockerroom people that they need to clean house of based on rumors we heard (peters and Demarco)

Personally, until we get a QB locked in going the free agency route and paying a ton of money doesn't make sense to me..

And agholor wouldn't be the first rookie WR to have a bad year..





Best case scenario for me, we land a QB this year.. Go guard twice in the 3rd (or once if we sign the guy from KC).. Then secondary and speed/special team WRs at some point

If it plays out that way, 2016 draft we're looking at hopefully right tackle or CB with or 1st and 2nd.. But if our WRs don't improve then we can take one there.. Or depending on how much we are along then, we can look at free agent route
