*PHILADELPHIA EAGLES* Official 20-21 Regular Season Thread: WEEK 1 EAGLES vs Football Team 1pm ET

at least this o-line seems to have some depth to it :smh:

and I literally hate Kendricks at this point, he got paid and doesn't give a damn

Big loss in the OLine :smh:

Big V gonna have Kerrigan lined up against him too....going to have to help V over in RT.

They said Hal has improved "significantly"
I'm confident he'll be able to hold the fort.  Doug and Reich will hopefully be smart enough to give him TE help If/when needed.  Initial plan was to move Barbre to T and have Wisniewski play guard, so they're clearly pretty confident in him.

Yeah, they initially wanted to move Barbre to RT, but Doug wants continuity on the OLine so they're just going to keep him at LG.

I'm confident with giving the Vaitai TE help when he needs it. I'm sure we can place Celek on OLine help and not really feel a drop off in the pass game since we still have Ertz and Burton.

I expect celek to basically be glued to his side.. and worst case a lot of trey and/or the back chipping on that side

I guess the positive is, if dude plays well or shows potential then we can draft a developmental T outside of the 1st

also could go with tobin at TE for a couple snaps

He’s worked extremely hard,” Pederson said Wednesday. “He’s gone against our defensive front, not only through training camp but the regular season. He’s a smart kid, athletic kid, strong kid. Just excited to watch him play on Sunday

We’re not changing game plan or any of that,” Pederson said. “As you get into the football game, if you see a guy is needing help, we can obviously help him with backs and tight ends, like most teams will do.

“But if everything is great and going as planned, then no, we just roll. The run game helps guys like that, especially in their first start, so we lean a little bit more on that, maybe. It’ll be monitored, obviously, but a full week of practice with him? He’ll be fine. We’re not going to handcuff the kid so much that he can’t play.

What contract would you take Djack back for, or just nah?
nah..

with all the injuries and immaturity issues.. then his size and I guess you gotta start looking at his age (going be 30 in decemeber)

while we do need a deep threat, at the very least.. I'd rather go to the draft.. or if we are going after a free agent WR, I want a bigger guy (let's see how terrelle pryor continues to do this season.. or if the bears don't franchise alshon)

You just said injuries & you ask for Alshon lol naw I'm over Djac myself ( hope he doesn't kill us on Sunday )

Anyway we can get rid of Kelce ?
I assume he restructures his deal after the season to lower his cap number if he's still around.. cap hit is like 2 mill if he's cut though (but he has a 6 mill cap hit)

yea...my bad..

draft is option 1 for me (maybe pryor depending on the cost)
