*PHILADELPHIA EAGLES* Official 20-21 Regular Season Thread: WEEK 1 EAGLES vs Football Team 1pm ET

Howie was just in the cut this past season scheming cause he knew Chip would crash and burn

Now dude is just making moves :pimp:

So we taking Zeke at 8 or nahhh

Naw , hargreaves iii .. O Line is stacked in this draft not that many at the skill position .

Exactly.. Go best available a CB, QB or tackle in the 1st.. Guards 2nd or 3rd

We don't make panic moves.. QBs go early, we sit and hope Hargreaves drops.. He goes early, we grab a tackle (guy out of MSU should be there)

I think we end up with one of the following at 13:

Goff, wentz, lynch, Hargreaves, Stanley or Conklin

We have to hope Zeke.. And certain defensive guys go top 10

Our needs aren't THAT bad.. Especially if we get that guard out of KC in free agency

Our right tackle need can be addressed in this draft or the next (since peters isn't going anywhere).. We can get another solid guard in the 2nd or 3rd (since we need two.. Hopefully the KC guard is one, since we need an immediate starter there)

In the next two drafts I see us drafting two QBs, 1 early and 1 in the mid rounds.. Since Sanchez is gone.. If Bradford is only here for the year or two, we have to be prepared

I just pray we don't reach out of need.. Play the draft, like when cox fell into our laps.. We end up with smith II and Danny Watkins when we reach out of need

Defense, we need we need a 3rd pass rushing DT (not really a need since outside guys have been used inside before, but would be nice) and either 3rd/4th DE.. CB is an immediate need, especially if Rowe gets moved to safety

Then you have whatever happens with barwin and smith II.. I assume we try to get more picks out of hart, bair and beau

Dog we not drafting Zeke man to many holes to fill

He will be a monster in the pros tho

If he's gonna be a monster in the pros then draft him.I used to think "oh just get a RB in the later rounds" and "oh they don't last long in the league anyway" but I listened to a BGN podcast and they said how that's dumb. If you can draft a difference maker then draft him. If he can make an impact like Todd Gurley from the jump that changes the whole dynamic of the offense. I don't study film or anything but I read a lot from people who do and they say he's one of the best backs to come out in awhile and a lot say he's one of their top 3 favorite prospects. Dude is only 20 so if we can get a good 8 years out of him at high level then that's more than great. I don't care about drafting for holes give me players who are great.

It's an allocation of resources thing..

Theoretically I am of the best player available thought process.. But the only RBs worth first half of the draft picks in today's NFL are Marshall Faulk and maybe LT, in my opinion

A RB who can also lineup and do things at WR.. Not just a guy catching screens or dump offs

You're better off building up the oline and plugging in a guy.. Remember we got shady in the 2nd, Westbrook in the 3rd, Duce in the 3rd and buckhalter in the 4th

Hell, even Dion Lewis was playing great before getting hurt

If you're going to draft a rb early, even then it's a stretch because its a deep rb class, next year is the year to do it. Pick up a Chief RB for thus season and role with it.
