Wrestling Thread Jan 4-17 | 1/11 WCW Legend Going Into WWE HoF; Brock Returns to Raw Tonight

Andre everyone knows was legendary. But i remember being like 14/15 hearing Vader stories. I was in awe. **** im hyped to go out now

Nah tim white doesnt but never thought anyone would give a **** about the tim white bar stories on here til now. I used to hear them at dohertys when w my cousins n dad/uncle. Stories of everyone man

Btw whoever called brenda negative had me crying on last page. His name is brendasgotababy off possibly the most depressing song, whated you think he was in real life? Upbeat n cheery?

Maybe?...

Would you guys argue that as it stands today, WWE has the best roster it has ever had?
Best in terms of WHAT?

Sheer talent....

Ill call my uncle tmrw to try n remember more. Was so long ago but he was in that scene cuz of where he lived/being a big time biker. I dont remember a ton but just had huge flashback

Sheer talent? What are we talking about, pretty modern moves? Sure, we can say this is the deepest talent roster in WWE History.

But the attitude era had MANY Top Notch hall of famers that were bigger stars than anybody on today's roster, so I can't agree with that.'

Prisoners of the moment

Rock

Stones

Taker

HBK
HHH

DX

ALONE blows out anything going on today.

Stop it

And I don't even care for any of those folks outside of HBK forreal

Let em know, New Yorkers upbeat and positive??? Naaa that's for them west coast chumps and their toxic air b
And Most depressing song ever?.... :smh: No not even close

I think a lot of times people just remember the Attitude Era in terms of SCSA, Rock, HBK, Trips, Bret, and Taker..But they tend to forget just how deep that roster was..That period of time had the best midcard in the company's history..And the tag division was solid too (although I think the 80's/early 90's tag picture was better)..

Ain't no WWF/WWE roster touching 85-NWA to 95-WCW roster in terms of wrestling and in-ring story telling..

Name recognition??? No no no. give you talent and even then it's a stretch cause I assume you are talking about moveset and athleticism but most the moves are so unnecessary and done in ring just because they can do them

Bingo. That is what "pure talent" is supposed to mean I guess.

So yea, current WWE looks the most like a big Indy Promotion than it has ever looked.

That is basically what yall are indirectly saying

Guys I didn't ask the question because that's how I ACTUALLY feel, just wanted to create some discussion

That and I've heard people say that before

I tend to believe him cuz his aunt dated golddust back in the day but as crazy as she was she left him for being too crazy

bada bing bada boom realist guys in the room how you doing

Really I want them to succeed on the main roster but only if Enzo is big cass' manager. Do not want to see his struggle forced brawler style wrestling at 5'4 :smh:

A few pages back someone linked a story of the possibility of Dudley boyz being split and Bully Ray having a singles run... NO. TRASH. ABSOLUTE TRASH. Nice little run with it in TNA but the thought of that coming to my TV is :x :x :x ...Just another reason why I am glad I've given up if they give that trash a run.

The roster is definitely talented right now, but even when I was watching 1996 yesterday, pre-attitude era, I would say there was more talent. Bret, Owen, HBK, Taker, Mankind, Vader, Stone Cold, Razor, Goldust, etc...
