Question fellas this girl has read receipts turned on and I've peeped that she'll open the message leave it on "read" then turn it off and it'll show as just "delivered" -___-
Noticed it because I'll sometimes send two messages and under the first one it shows read and the second one will show delivered.. Does she not know that? Lmao

She's been doing this for about the past two weeks now.
I don't know what to take it as, doesn't really bother me. A little annoying I see it as childish just curious as to why she would go out her way to turn them off then turn em back on.
We haven't done anything yet. Past few times we hung out its been cool, both flirting and touching each other about it, I've missed a few opportunities to make a move in the past, still kicking myself over those smfh.


Shorty is a lil baddie too. Solid 9/10 She's one of those IG "models" tho lol.


Haven't mentioned it at all. Anyone have someone do this before? What would y'all do or not do?

If she's replying then it's really of no concern, she's probably just pulling the message down as soon as she gets the notification. Either way who cares it doesn't change anything, IF she's replying.

If she's not replying, then I'd have been stop texting her but you knew that already.
 
Yeah she still replies and she initiates majority of the time.
It's just funny how I see it on read and it stays like that for 15-20 mins then it switches to delivered then back to read when she replies and it'll show the original time she read it lol

Like whyy lol who does that

She could not know that you've already seen it on read and wants to make you think she doesn't care/isn't rushing to reply.

Or is entertaining multiple dudes and wants one of them to not know that she read their text and another to know.

Or we all could be overthinking.

But it's likely the second option.
 
Looking back at my original post it might be a little confusing. I forgot to put that she puts it back on read when she finally decides to reply. And it shows the original time she read it lol. Hours later and ****

Yeah probably the second option. I don't know why she would do that though if we ain't really anything. Sometimes it's a short *** message lol, you can see that by just pulling it down you ain't gotta open it then do all the extra. She's a childhood friend. Lived with her for a couple years when we were in elementary lost touch, got back in touch middle school lost touch then got back in touch about a year and a half ago. Maybe that's why she's so persistent in trying to keep a relationship? Who knows maybe she just wants a friendship.
About 6 months ago I stupidly sent her a drunk text telling her how I felt about some stuff and what was on my mind. She indirectly curved the ****kkk outta me :lol: literally just saying we go way back.
I was like cool take it as an L and move on. Wrong she continues to hit me up after that. I never brought the messages that I sent her back up and I gradually started distancing myself from her. She would hit me up and I'd be dry af (I know petty) or would straight up ignore her. She finally stops hitting me up until about a month ago she hits me saying she misses me. I really didn't want to start talking to her again cause it all just felt like games but she's persistent lol so we've been texting and hung out a few times.

I feel a lot of tension between us, she's always flirting and always dropping subtle hints and talking in between the lines type ****.
Idk ima make a move and see whats up. If she's not about anything ima really fall all the way back.

I don't know where to post this but I might be falling for a chick. I've been single most of my adult life. I've been in some unhealthy relationships that has kind of left me jaded when it comes to them. Now my thing is that I have a type, and that type is slim, good booty, cute. I have a great track record. However the chick I am falling for is cute as ****, but thicker than I normally go for. Not NT thick or fat, but just thick. I know she used to be a bit thinner but idk it kind of gets to me.
I'm just somewhat of a shallow person by nature but she is cool as ****. I guess I just need to get over myself and be happy

This should be #1 for everyone.
Even for the guy that just asked about feeling a girl but she's not the small size he is use to.

When you're looking for a forever mate. beauty fades, weight changes. conversations can become dull at times.
but if you enjoy that persons company then thats what matters most.

you gotta leave your ego and NT standards at the door sometimes and worry about being happy for yourself. l
