Nah I gave no dambs as a youngin, just let hormones lead the way and somehow let me being cheated on in the past justify it. Growing into my own I realized that's not really what I'm about.
 
quick funny story.
So when I met my girl last year she didn't cook at all. I mean she may have scrambled eggs and burned toast but she had no type of sense around the kitchen.
I taught her about spicing things. (she is a bland salt and pepper only user) Taught her Crock pot (which was huge for her)
Now she orders those home chef meals (by the way get at me if yall wanna code and start ordering it) which they are basically cook books and they send you all the ingredients you need including the meats, veggies, down to the salt and pepper and butter.


so last night. shes says. "Man im really liking cooking. soon i'll be able to just wing it like you do. Lol it's almost like you've domesticated me"

I looked her dead in her eye.........

^ Cooking is essential regardless of gender.

I'd highly recommend everyone try it and continue to learn. I have no excuse myself considering my family is in the restaurant industry.

Just got back today from our vacation in Puerto Rico. Wifey leaves tomorrow for a 5 day trip for work. The feels are real.

trust me i know. im the one who normally cooks all the time, packed her a few lunches before, made dinners on date nights.
but now she's the one who makes dinners with the home chef stuff.

Im just trying to get her a little more self confident with her cooking since im now on my diet and a lot of my foods are similar weekly.

Dress code? I sent out the bat signal to the friends around the area. Some wanna roll, but they not dressed up for it since they been out and about.

I believe it was the Pot Lobby.

Didnt seem to be much of a dress code...but 99% of the guys had on a button-up shirt and sneakers
No sandals if I remember
 
Just saw a picture of my ex kissing another dude and it finally gives me closure on the situation. Her sister is a real one, came to Houston the other day (they live in Maryland) and dropped the hint that I should get out and date (which I have, but I'm focused on my career right now).

It's one of those weird "kinda sucks and hurts" moments, but I'm happy for her overall.
 
A few weeks ago I told y'all my gf has a guy bestfriend shes known for 6 years...we had a convo about him. I told her she likes him and she agreed she believe he does as well..fast forward to last night.. He texts my girl at 2am saying he wishes she was his gf and he's serious right now... She tried to hit me with we joke like that all bullcrap...I asked her to rearrange a face to face meeting with him but of course being the immature girl she is at times she doesn't want to rearrange a meeting and says he's my friend he's not going anywhere... I don't see dude as a threat at all for the fact i know my girl would walk all over him but at the same time I wanna talk to him man to man and tell him don't text and call her with stuff like that... One of the reasons he text her so late according to her is he has insomnia and she gets off work late... Still I don't mind him contacting her I don't want him in his feelings saying **** like that

We all have a female friend. When have we EVER text our friend talking about we should be together and were joking? She may not be in to him but that needs to be deaded in someway
Especially if she agreed he likes her. (You typed she but i assume that was a typo)
