We needed Shannon Briggs in the ring to make it a triple threat...

Fury is a BUM. A blown up light heavyweight in Steve Cunningham almost ended his night, I'm suppose to believe he can stand up to Wilder's right hand?

IDK, I don't think Deontay will win vs Fury, Fury is taller, and moves, he will likely take it to distance and jab his way to win, 12 rounds, no lunging in like this dude who got KOed just now. Deontay fights many guys smaller than him. Not to mention Fury has a longer reach. Hope Deontay's the favorite when it happens, I'll gladly put some money in Vegas.

That's a PacMan level sleep session right there...:x

Would LOVE to see Ortiz/Wilder on prime time NBC/CBS, prob impossible though considering Ortiz is with GB.

If I'm Deontay, I'd chase Martin and snag another belt. Dude has NO skill...

That's right Ortiz is with Golden Boy. What a bummer.

Fury and Wilder are both clumsy and have shaky chins. I think it will come down to who can land the bomb first.

Agreed. I might lean towards Wilder though because he took some shots from Stiverne and never really looked buzzed, whereas Fury got dropped by Steve Cunningham . Also Wilder hits harder. But Fury does have more movement though and he's longer so, enh. It'll be interesting

Speaking of Cunningham, Glaskov finally got exposed tonight. It was only a matter of time.He got gifts over Cunningham and a couple others.

i wouldnt say he got exposed, he just suffered a very unfortunate injury. He's been gifted several decisions like you said tho so i agree it was only a matter of time before something didnt go his way..

As far as Wilder-Szpilka, I like Wilder's personality and he has insane power like we saw with that KO, but I can't see him beating any top heavyweight on the scorecards. Hopefully they can build this Wilder-Fury fight and make it the next big superfight

Not really interested in seeing Wilder fight Povetkin.

Would rather see him fight Luis Ortiz.

But whatever.

USS made a twitvid as soon as the fraudulence was exposed.

Wilder gotta tighten up tho. He didn't look this bad vs stiverne.

Don't like fury but this was a great chance to sell a heavyweight title fight by him and showtime and I ain't mad

Big KO for Wilder, more impressed with him after the bell with good sportsmanship than I was during the fight. I feel like he doesn't ever improve from fight to fight. He better fix his balance issues and wide swinging or its going to catch up to him.

I don't think he looked bad, but at times he was just throwing random punches leaving him unbalance and he was just a jab or power punch guy. No combinations.

If you fight someone that has a decent jab and can outwork you, he is done.

Wilder needs to get with someone that will teach him how to fight light a bigger fighter. Dude has potential but the right opponent will expose his flaws if he doesn't improve.

As long as Luis does not fight flat footed, I'd like to see the hopping footworking utilizing Luis that we saw the 2nd half of his last fight.

Even if he fights flat footed against Wilder, I just think he simply takes Wilder to school.

He has a great jab, and works the body liberally. He's a very technically sound fighter and has scary, scary power.

Wilder would give Ortiz far too many opportunities for Ortiz not to capitalize and send him packing.

Add in the fact that Wilder had some trouble in the early goings with Szpilka's southpaw stance, I don't think he'd stand a chance against Ortiz.

But the fights not happening, at least not any time soon. Shame.

Dominic Breazale vs Amir Mansour next weekend. If Breazale wins, then Haymon will hand him cherries to build up his record. If Mansour wins, I'm almost 100% sure he will fight Wilder next.

"I WILL BAPTIZE YOU!!!"

I hope this means that Wilder vs Fury is happening. I wanted to see Wilder vs Anthony Joshua but that can wait

it's lit!!!

My man said I will baptize you

The beauty of that line was he set it up with something like "you can jump around here like a preacher all you want".

And it fit with Fury's bum *** shirt/tie/suit and antics

Yeah man, when they panned over to Fury throwing his jacket with his tie all ****** up I was already dying

But damn, I'm actually hyped to see some heavyweight fights for the first time in forever. Any combo of Wilder, Povetkin, Fury, Ortiz, Joshua, Haye and even Stiverne would be interesting. And no promotional roadblocks as far as I know. Hopefully they don't drop the ball
