Other than the atrocious scorecards, the right person won the first fight and i really dont see a reason for a rematch. Guess king cotto trying to cash out one last time, if thats the case I'm not mad.

You prob know better than me but it seems like there were no options for tune ups. Seems like it was either be the opponent for Lemieux or continue to sit on the sidelines. Signed with GBP, BTW.

He could've fought a lesser known opponent but there was a big difference in money for him to take the Lemieux fight, at 160.

I understand the decision, but after a 18 month lay off and 2 consecutive losses, bad ones at that, just hope my boy Tap can put up a strong performance.
 
Yeah. And after all these fights falling through so far I'm actually kinda starting to look forward to the main event a little bit. Mismatch on paper for sure but it's better than nothing.
 
I watched some more film of Charles Martin and I think people are highly underestimating him. He started boxing late (22 or 23 I believe). However he's strong and powerful. His technique and skills are questionable, however he looks good for someone who only started boxing 6 years ago. As great as Anthony Joshua has looked lately, I think a lot of his success is from being the bigger stronger guy in the ring. I think Joshua is going to have his hands full when he fights Martin.

**** I want to be in the building for Crawford-Postol. I'm really surprised they're getting it done so soon. I would've thought both of them will wait they both get one more win on their record. I''m not complaining though.

ADRIEN BRONER ACCUSED OF VIOLENT ROBBERY W/ GUN... Warrant Issued for Arrest


"Boxing superstar Adrien Broner is a wanted man -- after allegedly beating the crap out of a guy outside a Cincinnati bowling alley in a violent robbery with a gun ... TMZ Sports has learned.
TMZ Sports has obtained official documents which show Broner has been charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Multiple sources connected to the case tell us the incident in question went down around 3:30 AM on January 21st -- after Broner and another man had been making high stakes bets with each other at the lanes.
The alleged victim told police ... Broner had lost thousands of dollars in bowling bets and was pissed when the alleged victim decided to call it a night and go home with his winnings.
Our sources say ... the man claims Broner waited for him outside of the alley and punched him in the face and neck -- nearly knocking the man out cold.
According to court docs ... Broner "then retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, approached the victim, demanded money, then struck [the victim] in the face with a closed fist a second time, this time causing the victim to be rendered unconscious."
"Broner was then observed taking money out of the victim's pockets while he was unconscious before fleeing the scene."
Officials note that Broner is a pro boxer -- and "professionally trained on how to cause serious physical harm to another person."
We're told the alleged victim was hospitalized -- and needed stitches to close a gash on his chin.
We reached out to Broner and his camp multiple times for comment -- so far, no word back. "
