I see that more as GGG accepting who one of his belt's organization throws at him.

Plus, Lara is completely irrelevant and even less of a draw than GGG.

Yeah I see it as avoiding someone who's style might make you catch that L.
Plus, given GGG track record the last year and half since he called him out he hasn't fought anybody near the caliber of boxers that Lara is, this couldve easily drew some good attention for him and would've definitely had more people checking for him.

GGG would stop Lara, but adds nothing to his draw because Lara is not somebody the casuals want to watch.
 
I have no doubt that GGG would win, but it may not be as easy as most think.....matter of fact he would've prob won a tainted scorecard.
Especially since HBO was pushing hard to make him they're next big draw since GBP and Haymon took everyone over to Showtime.

But you can't be serious about that "casuals" not wanting to watch...

Being compared to margarito is bad? margarito beat a lot of folks.
U took that as if I was talking margarito the hand wrap bandit. Stylistically prodding style and slow footwork is like Antonio and not having one punch power. his Low , upper , hook combo nice.

The bad footwork has stopped me from favoring him vs good boxers. But yeah I was high on him before the Lara fight after that my faith waned. I liked him vs trout tho

Casuals would most def prefer Lemieux to Lara, the rest of your list is equivalent to Lara casual wise.

Most of the casuals view Lara as the guy that ran away from Canelo and got hurt by Angulo before winning by stoppage from an eye injury his punching didn't even cause.

GGG beating Lara by a tainted scorecard? FOH. GGG isn't just the heaviest puncher Lara would ever face, he's a master boxer with a skill level on par with if not better than Lara. I have no doubt GGG would break Lara down and Stop him inside the distance.
 
Lara supposedly wants 1.5-2M to fight GGG.  That besides his association with Al is why this fight is not happening anytime soon. 

If Lara really wants the GGG fight he can actually move up to MW first, and get a belt from either Jacobs or BJS.

3G has to fight Wade first but I doubt he agrees to 155 to fight Brook. The only person he'd make that exception for is Mayweather.
 
Is there anything stopping Brook from fighting Danny or the winner of Thurman/Porter? Besides the usual "let the fight marinate", "too risky" shenanigans from boxing. Why in the world would GGG go down to 155 for Kell Brook of all people?
 
Why doesn't Brook just try to fight a top guy at 147 first. Thurman, Bradley, Garcia, whoever. I know he had the injury but damn, dude hasn't fought anybody since Porter
