Ali should be able to beat Vargas but he's not ready for the upper echelon at 147.

None of the HWs we want to see fight Ortiz will be willing to get in the ring with him right now. He's doing the right thing by keeping busy while not fighting complete bums.

Hopkins would smash overhyped cherry picker GGG. The Alien will prove to be too strong, too big, too slick and well too experienced. Hopkins by 3rd round TKO. Won't be surprised if GGG camp retract that interest and ducks one of the greatest boxers of all time.

The Jennings and Kayode fights made him look scarier than he really is. 1. Jennings got started Boxing late compared to Ortiz who had 300+ amateur fights. So the factors that determined that fight were the experience and power gap. 2. Ortiz got popped for PED's in the Kayode fight and Kayode was really a mediocre Cruiserweight.
Ultimately he's high risk, low reward. Why go after him and risk losing when you can fight Fury, Wilder, Klitschko, or Joshua for a MUCH bigger payday?

Y'all can hate on Golovkin, but that is his mandatory challenger to keep his belt since Canelo and Oscar are running away from GGG's mandatory status.

I don't think anyone is hating and I'm pretty sure we all know this is his mandatory challenger.
We are also aware that Canelo/Oscar don't want any parts of GGG right now.
We were hoping someone stepped up and intervened, maybe give Wade some money to step to the side so GGG could fight a better opponent. Clearly it's too big of a risk though

I based that on the cab/bus driver replacements on deck since that is usually the route lesser fighters promoters go with protecting their fighters records.

Im a GGG fan but this fight is a complete JOKE and HBO shouldn't have accepted this fight. This guy is his mandatory challenger only cause his real mandatory Taureano Johnson got hurt. I don't know how IBF works, but if he would've been stripped for not facing the replacement to his mandatory (which wouldve been a joke) he shouldve just vacated it or paid him a little step aside money and face a real challenger like Andy Lee or Korobov even

Those are the quality of fighters willing to step in the ring with him at 160 which isn't his fault but he should take the Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez route and go up in weight until he finds guys willing to fight him. All this waiting around at his age isn't helping.
