Official 2016 Boxing Thread: 11/5/2016 - Vargas/Pacquiao Top Rank PPV.

What are the chances Floyd actually comes back and fights Garcia just to derail the Khan vs Canelo fight train? I'd say it's 50/50, another easy Berto type of fight for 30 million and get that #50. I think he'd actually do it more so just to show he still has that pull in the boxing world.

He's not setting a precedent that hadn't already been set by so many fighters.

You guys either have a fickle memory, or a selective memory.

Regardless of whether it's right or wrong It's what superstars do. Look at Pac and Mayweather.

My OG reply to this post got deleted as the mods deleted all posts from the @HEATHEN SN that weren't quoted.

Out of banned camp, so I wanted to clarify.

I should've said *continuing precedent*, misspeak on my part. No selective memory.

TBH I think Canelo taking Khan in a fight is because he wants to prepare for a Mayweather rematch. He knows if he beats Khan, with that 160lb belt, he can lure Mayweather out of retirement for another huge PPV.

Nike terminated Manny's contract after what he said about gay couples :pimp: good riddance

So Nike actually dropped Pac :wow: :wow: :wow:

Good riddance.

Got hit with reality like

Can't remember the last time Nike dropped any Manny Pacquiao shoes/product, so this is less of an impact. Plus he retiring anyway so might as well.

dont like what pac said and nike terminating his contract was deserved... but they really didnt drop anything for pac in mad long plus hes retiring anyway so no big deal

They were just looking for a reason to drop the dead weight.

He gave 'em one.

A good majority of Filipinos are strongly religious, especially the old school people. His comments are no surprise to me, but I don't agree with them at all.

I'm not even trippin over the comment he made, it's the fact that he said it on a television program broadcast :wow: .. not a single damn given

He's made similar comments in the past, Nike was just looking for an excuse to drop him.
