the current situation.

Watched a screening of it tonight, absolutely loved it. Wife and I both loved it as much as the first.

Wan is really, really good with his craft within this genre.

Anyone on the fence, definitely give it a chance.

Cool, was definitely on the fence, and I really did enjoy the first one.

Everybody too scared watch this, guess Im gonna watch it by myself

Not nearly as good as the first. Some of the effects were poorly done. Story was ok though

First one had me in legit tears from laughter. That hair pulling scene takes the cake. Then again, I was partaking in some medicinal plants.

Naw you dont NEED to see the first one but it would help some what.

Movie was good. I think the first one was more scarier for me but they are both good.

The audience might have made it less scary since there was a lot of kids watching too

Movie was good although I liked the first one better.

As long as James Wan directs and the Hayes brothers write these will continue to be above average horror movies.

Hayes Brothers talk about their experience working on The Conjuring 2. How true to the real events did they get?

Loved the movie albiet a bit cheesy at times.

And I didn't realize the actress playing Janet also played one of the daughters in True Detective.

Taking a chick to watch. Should be fun.
My friends and I went to see the first one with some of our female classmates. Constantly getting freaked out
Those who have seen the second, how does it compare to the first one?

My girl made me watch Me Befote You tonight, so I returned the favor with this movie. She was terrified. Very good follow up. Just as good, if not better, than the original.

Can't wait to see what Wan does with Aquaman.

Definitely better than the first one, the only thing I didn't dig was that motion picture toy being a manifestation.

1.yea the Crooked Man thing was the only missstep imo. didnt need to be CGI.also the final solution was a little weak. but everything else was good.

2. i tried to imagine Bill Wilkins being replaced my Al Bundy lol.

3. The Nun :wow:

Ayo, The Nun should be a Purge mask lol

4. I saw "letters" in the Warrens house
by the end of the movie i was like yooooooooo

The scene with the nun and the painting, though.

James Wan is the king of building tension. there was a few times where the camera was set in a way that you expect a jump scare and nothing happens. I could hear the audience collectively holding their breath and letting go when the tension is (supposedly) over.

I haven't seen a real horror film in theaters in years. The feeling of everyone cringing at a character walking towards the noise had me rollin'.

No one made a sound through the whole movie.

It wasn't a packed theater but that's weird for a horror movie.

Someone even brought their little kid to see it :smh:
