Such a shame. Truly one of the greatest artists of all time. Career that spanned decades, and always had fresh music. Pleased everyone musically whether you were one to listen to commercial pop or his underground music.

He just released an album on friday too. Cancer. Rip. Very sad news. Great artist.
 
Wow. What a shock. I had no idea he had cancer. Dude looked like he hadn't aged a day for the past 30 years or so, like he might live to 100. RIP, truly one of the greats.
 
Haven't heard his new album, but a lot of critics have praised it as one of his best..#RIP..
 
Legend, RIP. He's one of those Artists that transcends his genre and is appreciated by all walks of life.
 
Sad that another timeless artist has passed on.
Came across his 1975 Young Americans soul album back in 2011 and it's a life/bad mood changer for real. My personal favorite co-written with Luther Vandross

Shocked to hear of his passing. He's one of those celebs you think will live forever, dunno if that makes sense.

He just dropped one hell of an album 3 days ago as well. Every body will post his old stuff and rightfully so, so I'll just post his last great masterpiece imo
