Air Jordan 11 Low "White/Gold" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

I'm not letting society dictate how I live. I'm just stating that I'm past the point in my personal life where I wear flashier stuff. has nothing to do with anyone else.

Also worth stating that I don't have a problem wearing them, I'd just rather spend money on a pair I would wear more often. I think that's a fair thing a lot can relate too.

For real...the best part of aging (maturing) is not gaf about what people think! When I picked these up in Vegas there were 1000+ hoopers and their families walking around, going to different events.  The shoe game was ridiculous! It was a beautiful thing to see toddlers to 65+ rockin' their kicks up and down the strip!

  A father of one of the players on my sons team (age 44) has every originally released signature Jordan 1-30. Yes...when he wears Chicago's they are from 1985...1985!!!

I agree that you should rock what you love, but you don't want to be the old guy that looks like he's trying too hard.  We've all seen the 50 yr old guy in the club posting up in skinny jeans, a v-neck and bad spray tan.  I think the guy that said he'd rather pick up a pair that he is more likely to wear, hit the nail on the head.  As far as 11 lows, I'm 100x more likely to rock the true red, navy/gum, etc. than something gold and flashy.  That being said, I immensely regret selling my Supreme Jordan V camo for the "35 year old white guy with two kids" reason.

Why can't the 35 yr old with 2 kids rock supreme jays?  Or am I reading something wrong here?  lol.. us old bucks and you youngins can co-exist man

I picked up two pairs of these on Friday.  They were a surprise, limited release at the Jordan Store on 32 S State and Footlocker.  Nice little surprise for me.  Much better in person than I expected.  They used a quality leather for the metallic gold.  I'm still not sure if I am going to keep them since the gold might be too aggressive for a 35 year old white guy with two kids.  The jury is still out on that one.  I actually picked up a size 12 for my brother, but he didn't want them so I threw those on e Bay.  One of the few times I actually liked a pair better in person than in photos.

Lucky - I was there Friday morning, but out of my size.
 
Was shocked to see a guy at the movie theater last night with these on...the gold didn't pop too much but they were still nice!
 
im not saying that theres something wrong with someone my age wearing gold sneakers. I just noice the older i get the less likely i am to buy sneakers like this. It isn't because I care what people think .Recently have been buying alot of 1's because they fit my style right now. I like these I'll prolly cop them. 
 
So one person says he cant pull off the shoe, then all of a sudden the tide turns against the shoe.... Where were all of these ppl before that comment was made ? Just saying

It's been an interesting twist to this thread. I get the whole 'too flashy for me' 'cop what you're gonna wear' mentality. But the leather on these look great and I still want them. Love the 11 lows.

These don't look that gold in person. It's a little dull and not as flashy as many would think. They look better in person. I wasn't planning on copping but when I saw them in person at Station23 I had to cop.
 
I hope they are a hell of a lot easier to get than the white/red 11 lows. That pair was a pain to get... including getting into a fight with a parking maid
 
I know that there are mixed opinions on this shoe and that's understandable. And that is perfectly okay, most of the best shoes are polarizing. But for me, these hit all of the right notes. Love the look and the execution. If possible this will be my first ever double up. Gonna wear one pair into the ground and then dye the sole black and keep the other pair on ice for a special occasion. Wear what you like fellas.

SHEESH LOL.. THEY DEF WERE ANNOYING THOUGH AND WORST PART IS THEY WERE AROUND COME LIKE MONDAY/TUESDAY AFTER RD HERE IN NYC. IM PASSING ON THESE .. THEY LOOK GREAT BUT I DONT THINK ILL LIKE THESE ON ME. THEY SHOULD BE EASIER.. ITS LIKE 9 PG'S SO FAR AND HALF OF NT IS WAITING FOR BANNED 1'S AND OTHER CRAP
