Yeah, I think so. Some things were rebalanced for the better... like the combat/killing. But the over-reliance on armor needs to be fixed.
Plus the drops/loot are more rewarding now. More aligned to your gear-score level.

It's great with an AB set, tho,
. Also, Meatlocker Safehouse was selling Famas during the launch of patch 1.5 which came with destructive, unforgiving, and uncomplicated. On another note, currently farming for the Barret chest and savage gloves for my 4 AB set and AR build.
