Kevin Hart sig line?

I don't really think Nike is going for hype here, Kevin Hart is a big gym guy himself so I think that is the appeal, his name is just to give a little boost

Nike probably made minimal profits from the Yeezy's, they really had no reason to keep an ego maniac who wanted creative control over his designs

Same thing i'm thinking. As someone that follows him on instagram he posts pictures and videos of himself and his kids exercising all the time, and he's more than happy to include his fans in it if he meets them in public. Dude takes part in fun runs and contests so having his name attached would definitely make for some good publicity.

It didnt take long for the blogs to get the hype machine going

well that clip from fallon made it seem like it is his own shoe. which does make sense. he is the normal everyday guy with the reach to the everyday consumer. these will be a cool little training shoe for Hart. awesome for him. but this isn't nothing big in the sneaker world lol. its just going to be a nice little general release or limited release but easy to get. will probably be made enough to go around and sit as well either way. it is sold to the everyday consumer. just a gym shoe. lol. and i agree with the kanye west reason for nike letting him go lol. at the end of the day he is just another entertainer to nike. they are focused on athletes. their lifestyle side is a small after thought after all of their athletics.

Garbage and I don't see these having a big casual appeal to those who would fall victim to the hype. Hart is not the most influential person when it comes to fashion and a lot of people can't stand him. Don't see to many hypebeast jumping on these. Decent for those who would actually work out in them.

What? That has a ton of casual appeal, white midsole, red upper, midcut? How does that NOT have casual appeal, its also a simple design. He ISNT the most influential at fashion but he said its for those who want to workout and stay in shape. It isnt a shoe for fashion, its for functionality and hes having fun with it. Sit down fam, you sound like a beast yourself

I'm not your "fam", re read my post. I actually believe these will be decent for those who will use them for their intended purpose. Every shoe has casual appeal to someone.

Your entire post besides the last line was entirely negative. I hit on your negative points, as if that last line was suppose to mean anything after that.

I would cop these in a second, perfect for the gym and run errands, etc.

I prefer a mid top for that as opposed to low or high

they look like the same height as the Lunar TR1 which I loved

I like them too but for function, I just can't imagine working out in any mids or highs.

Good for casual wear I guess, reminds me of the FK chukkas.

I thought the same exact thing. Damn, I miss Lunar FK Chukkas. I could get down with these. They ought to throw the midsole/sole from the Nike RN Distance on them.

The red ones are dope ......
I know they will be 100 plus
Too much dope kicks coming out to even think about these

If Nike commits a shoe to a comedian, it should be Seinfeld. He's done more for the brand than Kevin Hart will ever do.

Seinfield is old news. He isnt relevant nor does he use social media as a platform. The whole point of this shoe is because Hart works out and has gotten people to workout with him also, why even bring up Seinfield? Its not about the comedian, its about the fitness.

plus, didn't he do some runs with Nike Run Clubs?

My brother works at a Niketown and went to one of his run. Kevin hart is a gym rat.

One thing about Nike is that above all they care about the athlete the most. They'll do things here and there for niche reasons but for the most part they care about making things happen in the athletic realm. So this makes sense to me. It's a little bit of both they can justify collating with the most famous comedian in the world because he's heavy into fitness.
