2016 Academy Awards/Oscars - Nominees Announced Today - February 28th

Show was decent.

Very much disappointed in Rock. He pandered to the prestige, I feel.

He could've reallyy gone in, but chose to dance around the issue with "safe" jokes.

Now they playin' "Fight the power" to close the show...insult to injury...smh...:smh:

...

I like how an ENTIRE ROOM of actors and movie professionals stood for Leo's victory, but dudes in here got cross words.

'Pity Award.'

'He wasn't even that good.'

'Weak field.'

Meanwhile, an entire room of folks in the business giving props.

its NT

They stand for everyone and this is the sixth time he has been nominated. The monkey is off of his back and it is no longer a conversation.

He was deserving this year.. I'd maybe put Fassbender over him, but I liked Leo better.

Add that to the strong narrative of Leo never winning, him being a great actor and well liked.. it's not a surprise to see people happy to see him finally win one.

Shout out to Chris Rock, Im sure he had them play the Public Enemy at the end. I love how he repped "Brooklyn" at the end.

Leo is gonna get TURNED UP tonight. No more memes and jokes though ...*sigh* lol

I didn't watch The Revenant because I wasn't feeling it but the guy is a great actor. Well deserved.

Michael Keaton giving love to Chris Rock after BLM was dope.

About all the black music during the credits tho lol
