2016 Academy Awards/Oscars - Nominees Announced Today - February 28th

Well, it's been a long prevailing theory that whoever wins best director is what should win best picture and I kinda agree with that but w/e.

EDIT

 @ that first line in that article. Dismissed.

Whole thing is just complaining about when The Revenant will win best picture. It's pathetic.

Also who regrets that Argo and Birdman won best picture?

Okay dude who wrote this doesn't have the best taste; talking about Star Wars, Boyhood, and Toy Story 3 should've won awards :smh:

Only informative thing is how the voting for best picture is different than all the others which wasn't hard to get. It's like voting for NBA MVP accept a player needs 50% 1st place votes the first round and then the 2nd round 2nd place votes are counted towards 1st place votes.

could it be cause you think the movies are close in terms of quality? between 2-3 that you could conceivably see beating the others in the field?

Not sure if you're asking me this.

I agree with the part of the article that best picture is a toss up and yes I'd say there's about 2-3 movies that are the best of the group that are close in terms of quality. There's one I don't think should've been nominated.

Want Leo to win it but would be dope if he gets upset as he's such a heavy favorite.
