Noooooooooooooooooo..........gucci

Please dont become an inconsiderate road bike boomer in spandex.
This " im still a G while doing over the top suss activities " phase, has finally gone too far.

This dude looks like Burrrian Rider now

People getting robbed for jordans doesn't mean people were into sneakers like that. Clearly jordans were popular, but aside from those same originals people got robbed for a majority of the publics interest in sneakers was very casual.

The "sneaker head" culture hit its peak around 2010-2012.

That's when EVERYBODY was a "sneakerhead".

It's also when social media really took off. And IG started popping.

The bubble is slowly coming back to normal....where it's more of a "niche" thing and people are casual about sneakers.

i say da peak us a lil bit before that..2007, CDP years.

there's no way JB ever drops nonstop 2 sneaker box sets again...but da market had a appetite and could support it back then.

he must've just got those made, there's no way that exposed midsole stays that white for 16+ years.

I'm sayin! I think they're coming back cuz no way he has a pair in that condition that can hold up to wear. Especially him dude is like 250+ lbs

They're likely just soleswapped because the shape of Jordan IIIs doesn't look like that anymore.

I would love to be wrong and for remastered IIIs to start looking like the '01-'03 run though like how the XIs got that fix.

I have 6 pairs from around "05-06" when they were hyped. I rarely wear them and if i do its usually one of the non-patent pairs. I have a friend who went ape (pun intended) and copped like 17 colorways and never got to wear them before the fakes killed their popularity. There isnt really a market for them as its hard to tell real from fake. Older pairs were poorly made imo

Thanks for replying. I see a whole bunch of cats paying $300+ for some other super high whack Nike 'AF1s' that look like a trend item similar to these Bapes. They're gonna have a tough time wearing them or recuperating any kind of money if they have to sell 'em down the line.

Its a trend that wont last long. Not everyone can pull those off.

Wouldn't be the first time a player has. I'm sure they know someone, remember Young has had a few pairs reglued so he might mightve asked him

Shoes were moving in 01....not like 2day of course

There was a line for all the 11s in 2000 and 2001.
The black red 4 retro around that time.....those were ghost i couldn't find those anywhere
Youre 43?

I lived in baltimore at the time a big sneaker city
and I copped my concord 11s like a week late from DTLR store in a mall
Im a 10.5
Imagine that happening now lol

I remember copping Varsity Red 6's the day they dropped and it was the same day as infrared pack. This one dude that worked at the athlete's foot I copped from was practically begging me to cop the infrared pack instead because they were they had the original intended color of course but also because no one had picked em up. They were $325 if I'm not mistaken...

If i remember correctly the black varsity red 6 dropped in winter time. Then there was bunch of hype n speculation of infrared pack coming out. Then they actually came out in late spring
