If your name isn't MJ, James Brown, Prince, George Clinton, Rick James, Little Richard or Bootsie Collins, a black male recording artist in 2017, and you can't play a musical instrument, you should not be authorized to wear no damn hair weave.
i blame the lack of bullies in school....since they took the bullies power to regulate foolery like weave and koolaid dreads, cats been letting their flags fly high

Name one thing you dudes call "suspect" that any of those dudes I listed did/wore that hit mainstream. LIke literally something you couldn't go a day without seeing around your hood or school.

Go ahead, I'll wait...

dyed hair
tight/leather pants
sagging pants to the point of exposing buttocks or undergarments
nose rings
subtle androgyny (in mike and princes day)

Remember what old heads used to say about us sagging our pants in the 90s and 2000's?

Old head:

"Look at you young *****, sagging your pants. Terrible. You know where that came from? Jail! It was to tell the dudes in there you were available. You roll like that?"

Anybody 25+ that has never heard the previous generation tell them a variation of the above quote that is a got damn liar

You missed the ENTIRE point

It wasn't about the validity of that statement, (cuz older ppl just tried to use that to "scare us straight" to pull out pants up)...it was about the older generation trying to imply you were "suspect" for sagging your jeans.

It's all cyclical man. The colored dreads and skinny jean kids are going to be talking down on the next generation's fashion choices 15-20 years from now .

Just a dumb argument

obviously it's some exaggerated **** your grandma or older people tells you because they just don't like seeing you sag but the point is that every generation has things that the older generation could interpret as suspect

if you have to make all types of reaches to call someone gay because of their clothes when they still like ******* girls at the end of the day i have to question why you have so much interest in what that man is wearing and who he is ending his night inside

how come prince can take your ***** wearing glitter and stilettos but our generation can't dye our hair or wear our pants tight

just be consistent

Yo this is mad funny. Could be some truth to it though. Also the fact that homosexuality is way more acceptable than it was 20 years ago. I can't believe how weird and soft rap music is today. I can't listen to new rap these days.

That place where Ashanti's thighs meet..........

It's where my face belongs.

That Thugger and SahBabii (I hate this __'s name ) pic :pimp:

Clear to me why Jimmy loved boot cuts for so long. He got some weird *** legs

Thug embracing his clone. What a time.

Looks like the anniversary for the infamous "Ye and crew" pic.

Pac, Prince, and MJ weren't emulated by the mainstream back in the day??????

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Pac is a reach for sure!!! Prince and MJ were on a different wave but it was the 80's and androgyny was huge then...it wasn't just them. Look at Debarge & Luther. Any male that was out at that time had to have that appeal to an extent because it was hot then I guess.
