It wasn't about the validity of that statement, (cuz older ppl just tried to use that to "scare us straight" to pull out pants up)...it was about the older generation trying to imply you were "suspect" for sagging your jeans.

obviously it's some exaggerated **** your grandma or older people tells you because they just don't like seeing you sag but the point is that every generation has things that the older generation could interpret as suspect
