1983. Not a homophobe. I let people rock. But you triple posting getting defensive showing your true colors.

I got called sus for wearing earrings, sagging pants, wearing shirts that looked like dresses, having too many sneakers in too many colors, wearing cornrows, and the list goes on. All those things are as related to me liking men as it would be if I grew up in this generation and dyed my hair. Just as dumb as the older generation sounded telling me what I did growing up was suspect, when they wore perms and jerry curls and bell bottom jeans in their day, is how corny some of yall sound in the present. At some point people have to learn to just stay out the way

Every generation that had TALENT. This generation has no talent. That is the differing factor. Many of you are overlooking this.

What the hell does talent have to do with the previous generation calling the next "suspect" because of their choice of clothing?

That's the topic at hand here.

lmao so because you like one decade of music better they were allowed to wear flagrant **** and the next isn't

man shut up

Other generations had true artistry and could push the envelope and take chances, despite the backlash. These newer folks are just trend followers and uncreative.

Wat exactly do yall mean by "suspect"

Son said he got called that cuz he sagged his pants??

Maybe im thinking of something else

mumble rap is pushing the envelope and taking chances despite backlash you just don't personally enjoy the music

what other era in rap would have songs like black beatles or 1night or brocoli...it's almost becoming a whole new genre

just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not innovative or pushing the envelope beyond "wah wah the white man wont leave me alone" over a james brown drum loop

You damn skippy. If you had any real talent yourself, you probably wouldn't be on Niketalk wasting data. Go learn a trade, you rinky dink ahh boy.

Party songs been made in rap forever, refresh your memory imbecile. A new genre? Mannnnnn whatever. I'm 29, I listen to a lot of new dudes. They not doing anything spectacular.

If it's a new genre, call it as such then.

Songs like "Black Beatles" have been in rap, since its inception. Shows how much knowledge you have.

I'm not talking about party songs I'm talking about specifically the sonics in those songs that haven't really been seen in rap before.

The falsettos, the melodies, drum programming, the beats.

Quavo be doing real life vocal runs.

Just say it's not for you but to say there's no talent or innovation out when we're in probably the most eccentric and out there era of rap right now on a mainstream level?
