Official Billions Thread: Season 7 (Final Season), Episode 9 (10/6/23) - Game Theory Optimal

His pops is going to get Chuck in so much trouble by season's end. It will be glorious

If you guys were in Axe's shoes and had to make the tough call what would you guys have done?
Hold them accountable and basically own the town but not do all of the cruel **** where crime rates raise, ppl die cuz of health insurance and all that, etc.

The charter school **** I'd do.

Depends where you asking for money and since you basically own the town you can make suggestions as to what get foreclosed on and defaulted.

From the jump they made it clear Axe is new money and he's proud to be a rags to riches story.

As for when he finds out he'll just take the war to another level and attack Chuck's dad.

Maybe he gets a heart attack and dies from it.

At the very least Chuck's political career will go up in flames before it gets a chance to begin

so axe aint give a f about what shorting that african country would do but now when its a hick town he so conflicted?

i like how chuck called out wendy on her obvious motive

i thought dude in jail woulda been pissed at axe tho

So who the **** is Lincoln lawyer? I saw that movie and don't recognize anybody from that on the show.

If you're talking about Rhoades right and guy. Remus (Axe's lawyer) was his law school professor, friend, and was his mentor. This was bit by bit revealed in s1. Otherwise he'd never meet with dude.

I also forgot about what African country you're talking about or when Axe shorted an entire country.

He is conflicted because of a few things -bad PR, he has a "lot" invested in, he does not want to take an L (not a good look when your track record is everything) and realization that he was once the poor folks (word to the pizza shop owner guy)

The homie that "quit", same guy Ax saved in the first season where he was drunk & shot a gun. Definitely not the homie who was getting at the secretary. Different guy.

Afro guy and the chick were talking about the other guy getting promotion, which is what all of them want. Pretty much in line to take Chuck's spot. They said if Chuck takes you to that restaurant, you got the promotion. Which didn't happen and that is what they were stressed about.

They are friends because I think he was his professor or something in law school. He recognizes the homie's talent but, as they said, he was bit idealistic to chase the $.

Wendy had to finally get herself some new **** from that dude based off of Elon Musk.

If you guys were in Axe's shoes and had to make the tough call what would you guys have done?

I would have done the same thing as Axe.

His pops is going to get Chuck in so much trouble by season's end. It will be glorious

I agree with that. Somehow he will slip up or Bobby will find out it was him and clap back.

Based on the conversation between Chuck and his pops, title for the upcoming episode (Episode 8 - The Kingmaker) and 30 second promo that we are going be seeing a lot of Black Jack Foley next week :pimp: :pimp:

Wendy is filthy. I just realized she had the same dress on from the night before. I bet she disn't even shower off the filth. Chuck deserves better.

im rootin for afro samurai

i dont know how to feel if im mad they fired that black asst or happy they at least brought a new black girl in to get a check

Seems she gonna join the other side but I really didn't see the point of hiring her.

I get Axe wanting to be cautious after he got put in a vulnerable position but she added nothing to the show.

I also don't think she learned enough to be able to hurt him.

I would have done the same thing as Axe.

But why though? How much money does Axe have? 10-15 billion? And he only stands to lose 500 million by not seizing the towns assets
Id let it slide cause the bad PR might hurt AXE capital in the long run.
Also I wouldnt want the bad karma following me that I ruined people's lives and basically a whole town. I couldnt live with myself.

On an unrelated note: I'd smang Wendy

Bruh half a billion is a lot to billionaires especially if he's only worhy 10-15 billion.

That's not smart business. That's not how Axe made his fortune.

There's bad PR either way. Taking a L on this will hurt his rep. It may not be good for in business relations in the short term.
