Yeah I did. I still stand by what I said. He's too arrogant. Talking about the days of the kingmaker are gone.
He humbled himself by the end to get what he wanted but he was just plain dumb and has a novice outlook on things.
Axe is definitely on tilt now and he'll take some shots early but I don't see this being smooth sailing for Chuck since he's deciding to go after Axe again. He's not gonna **** em all.

Chuck has been the MVP of this season. He's made a ton of brilliant moves and Axe is getting a little sloppy.

The best move Chuck made was the pivot to keep from being fired which he parlayed to the path of becoming governor.
The rest eh. What Axe said about him leaning on his daddy is true.
You can see a lot of stuff this season set up to emotionally crush Chuck once they're revealed.
Axe and Chuck are like polar opposites. Axe is so business driven that he can use that to set non business **** straight or find a solution. Hence, why were getting to see situations like Axe needing to clear a certain # for the quarter so he sacrifices a peer and this choice of what to do with the town. It's why he only needed sessions with Wendy to set him straight. Chuck needs to have his personal life in order or calm to be able to then do work in his business at his best.
Once he finds out Wendy spread it wide for some other rich dude he's going to spiral out of control. The writing is on the wall.
Wendy saw it on his face and that's why she lied.

Taylor scheming to get a private jet to stunt with her friends was funny.
We'll see how she deals with outside pressure with the Feds watching and Chuck and his lapdog thirsty to get Axe.
Chuck is gonna let it leak he invested in the ice juice so that Axe pounces and probably does something illegal so he can catch him in it and in the process Ira gets screwed and he may not even he cares he loses some of his own money.

Yeh as soon as I saw him look at the binder I knew it was a wrap for Ira. That let's you know how much money means to Chuck. He signed off on it being used knowing what he is trying to do. His pops gonna be sick.
