I don't know about the all star weekend stuff but will take your word for it. Maybe that's how it works. To be completely honest I buy maybe 2 pairs of sneakers a year and I am very picky unfortunately it seems the ones I like are ones which are in limited supply and have a lot of "hype" surrounding them. The only real issue i have on the consumer side are resellers. Like i've mentioned in previous posts i strongly believe adidas/nike marketing strategies for new sneaker lines are outdated.

really? Are we talking about UB's here? Because the first colorways of UB's were rolled out in massive quantities. They were giving away free OG black/purp Ultraboosts. They were widely available and anyone could have walked into an adidas store to tried them on. This NMD model however, have been super elusive to the general public.

I was a click away from listing my OGs on ebay and I had a complete change of heart and decided im gunna hold on to them and wear them. It took a while for the red and blue to grown on me but it did.

I've only lined up once when I was younger. People were pushing and shoving and cutting in line. It was a mess. People starting getting all rowdy over 10 pairs of shoes and there were like 25 guys. Some kid got stomped out. It was wild. I got pushed in the back so I just turned and swung. Hit some kid in th face....pretty sure it wasn't him who pushed me tho. Kid backed off tho. Anyways...the shop said f this and called the cops. So I left with my boy empty handed. Lol

Things almost got bad like that when i lined up for the YOTR 7s. People started just coming in and skipping the whole line in the morning after we were there all night. I just made my way back up to the front where I was originally and once I found my spot, called my sister to move up too. Couldnt believe that after waiting all night, some people just accepted people skipping them...must not value their time lol. Got my 2 pair so i was good
I wish **** never got like that though cuz then the store could end up shutting everything down then no one gets pairs
