Too bad the blacks are for the auction. But until there are release details who knows if we even have a chance.

Points like this I'm glad I have a pretty good career. 600 is steep...but this is a must for a die hard laker fan.

on da real the black 8s fire. black 3 look like those whack joker craps. the green and purple broke joints

I prefer the white pack. look so clean add that to the fact that kobe wore both on court

So the 1-XXX set in all white size 14 is kobe's to keep, while the set in black will be auctioned off starting at $100,000 also in size 14. Both sets feature Lakers colors accents on the III and VIII models because those pairs were actually worn by Kobe in the 2002-2003 season (white 3s & white 8s). According to the article that details all of this on news.nike.com, there will be another announcement on Sunday.

I'm hoping that announcement is the release of the pack and I'm hoping the pack is comprised of the white based 3s and 8s since he actually wore those, but I wouldn't be opposed to the black based 3s or 8s either. I actually really like the black based 7s he wore, so clean.

Pricing will probably be crazy. If they're really putting out 3s and 8s because 3x8=24 then it wouldn't be crazy to think the packs price would be $824 since he wore #8 and #24 lol
