I'll agree with the last part.

The scum part is a reach though. That man bit his tongue and kept his composure all the way until she spit the second time.

You didn't answer my question though if you've ever had someone spit in your face twice before though. And if so how did you handle it? If not, in your ideal hypothetical situation, how would you handle it?

Regarding the boyfriend not doing anything part. Perhaps, but this is the real world. If you're out with someone, friend, girlfriend etc, and they're acting reckless and disrespectful, if you don't make effort to diffuse things, the other side is going to see you as part of the problem. We can argue legal semantics all day, but the boyfriends lucky it was just fists. People have gotten shot and stabbed because of their reckless loudmouth friends putting them into sketchy situations. Granted the person doing the shooting/stabbing likely goes to jail, but that doesn't take away the fact someone got seriously hurt because of their reckless friends behavior.

He doesn't HAVE to though. That's his girlfriend, not his daughter. He has no authority over her actions or the authority to diffuse the situation. Whats the court going to say, "You don't know how to control your woman"? He's in the same boat as every other passenger that did nothing.

That may or may not be how the courts interpret it. Depends on the individual judge and quality of the legal representation. But again this is the real world and things play out differently in a real life situation. If you got a reckless friend that's popping off and you do nothing to diffuse things, the other side is going to see you as part of problem whether it's right or wrong.

He may not have "authority" but he should've had the common sense to see she's causing a civil disruption and get her off the train (surprised no other passengers did anything when she kept blocking the doors before he initially put hands on her man). He's with her, that's his wife. the rest of the train has no ties or association to her. She's not the rest of the trains problem.

Hope it doesn't happen to anyone cause it's no good, but god forbid one of your friends has a little too much to drink and starts acting reckless and popping off on people. You can either let him get whatever he got coming to him, realize it's a volatile situation and get try and cool things down with the other side while diffusing things, or do nothing while he acts reckless. Any option other then choice 2 is being a crappy friend in my opinion.

All differing views aside though. Her not doing anything when he was getting beat down despite her loud mouth being the cause of everything in the first place was a real bad look.

Ha, dude wasn't biting his tongue at all. She was all kinds of ******* and ****. And **** you this, **** you that. I guess he has no responsibility to de-escalate. Not to mention he was probably disrespectful in the first place why she started acting like that.

I never been spit on. Not sure what I would do. I know violence is not the answer but it's easier said than done to turn the other cheek in that situation, I get it. If I did act out in violence I would fully expect to be prosecuted. Honestly, the spitting could have been avoided. He could have deaded it and ignored her before it got to spitting. He egged her on. Not to mention he could have not been disrespectful in the first place. He is responsible for controlling himself first and foremost before you start talking about what 3rd parties are responsible for stepping in and trying to control.

Your wife/girl is a representation of yourself, I don't know how you guys feel the dude that did absolutely nothing to control that animal of wife he has shouldn't be held accountable....had his balls been bigger, this **** wouldn't had gotten out of control....the dude didn't even try....obviously in court contruction dude is screwed tho, because justice is all about technicalities and fact is the husband didn't directly do anything to warrant that **** whooping....then again the woman did and if he would have beat the crap out of her he would have still lost....I understand wanting to be level headed, but I can't see how some of you can keep your head straight after some ignorant **** spits on your face twice....

Damn just now seeing this. As someone who catches public transportation to work, I can honestly say I see females like this all the time. You can be sitting there after a long hard day and some d-head decides to squeeze in next to you knowing they can't fit. Without an excuse me.

I have never been in the position of getting spit on so I'm not even judging dude for lashing out. I just feel bad for her man but how you wife something like that ? Dude was thinking about his whole life after that beating. I kinda wish she hit him so he could've knocked her ghetto __out. That's the only way some of em will learn.

Honestly I think the quality of legal representation he gets in this case will go a long way. People get hit with a slap on the wrist all the time for reckless stuff. A good lawyer could minimize the damage here for sure.

Regarding the dude who got beat up, I hope he don't get into worse situations because of his girls big mouth. She don't seem like she learned her lesson and I wouldn't be shocked if her actions put him in the line of fire in another no win situation.

the judge don't follow the street moral code they follow the law :lol:

actually if he hit the woman instead of the man he probably would of got off because then it would of been easier to say self defense since SHE was the one who assaulted him

Steezy...he beat up an innocent guy. I feel bad for the guy, because as you said, he was provoked and pushed to his limit. However, at the end of the day, what he did to girl's husband wasn't necessary. Doesn't even matter if he gave warning or not. That won't stand in a court of law.

im with you man. he wont get much time if any.its just assualt not a big deal . unless you put someone in the hospital or injure them badly its not a huge deal .

We not talking about morals, we talking about facts. The fact is that this is a grown *** woman that spit at a man. It's annoying that you are saying a man should be accountable for this grown *** woman instead of saying the woman should be accountable for her own actions. this is true. he shouldve shoved that girl , then her dude would of jumped in and he couldve pummeled dude and got off with nothing because of self defense but i understand its hard to think when you in that situation.

We not talking about morals, we talking about facts. The fact is that this is a grown *** woman that spit at a man. It's annoying that you are saying a man should be accountable for this grown *** woman instead of saying the woman should be accountable for her own actions.
