B.o.B. on one.

Funny thing is if someone tells Bob something and he believes it, he's not a sheep. If we believe someone who tells us the opposite we're sheep. Ha ha ha

So a new scientist should step in and debunk his cloning conspiracy? :nerd:

Most modern scientists agree that cloning is entirely possible, just highly unethical.

History has taught us that ethics have never kept people from experienting on others. :nerd:
No, no, no. I'm not saying a scientist should debunk cloning. I'm saying somebody should step in and debunk his cloning conspiracy theory. We all know cloning is possible, is being done to an extent, and researched but it's far from perfect.

his conspiracy theory is celebs are all clones and they are just swapped out. That means cloning is perfected, they've aged up the clones through some process or cloned a whole lot and had them age in real time in stasis, and most importantly somehow brain patterns are cloned and these clones are exactly like the original up to a point.

If any that is real, ethics would be irrelevant cuz the person/ppl to perfect it would be wealthy. They could do away with donor lists cuz you could clone w/e you needed if you got sick. Not to mention end world hunger.

Maybe they're not clones they just got them digital masks like in Mission impossible. That or they're shape-shifting reptilians.

Im not gon front like I can imagine where they at with cloning. I know I just found it odd in 96' they were dumb hype to announce they cloned sheep. And then, everything been all sshhhhhh......... ever since. Doubt they will ever bring it up again besides talking bout some menial use or that they are still developing the science.

If you keep using the dna from the cloned successors does the quality of the clones decline?

Like are the retro + clones of lesser quality than the og clones?

is there a grey market clone of ninjahood somewhere out there?

If you're not interested and not keeping an eye on it's progress makes no sense to create such suspicion in your head when you're relying on the media to tell you what the scientists have been announcing.

its not the exciting scifi version of cloning we normally think of but people have been cloning plants for decades

Don't see how I can keep progress on something like this. Labs can be transparent as they want to be and scientists publish what they want.
Other than that, I mean, I read alot of alternative and international news. I love science but I dont have a dedicated source for this type of information. Do you?

 What? You have the internet which you're using right now. The info on the progress is at your finger tips.

Scientists publish their findings and progress constantly on these topics and their research. Subscribe to a scientific weekly. If you want something not as heavy, peep a scientific mag.

Science and the practice of it is not some closed off secret group that hides their discoveries and lies to throw the public off in general. I mean scientific institutions will provide you with the info.

This is like asking how do I keep up with this specific NFL team other than watching the sports segment on the news. The info is out there, you just gotta look for it.

I don't get this, scientists publish their progress.

I mean if you already got an accusatory and suspicious mind and want to claim foul play then that's more your problem  Scientists publish their findings, most labs that are transparent are transparent. There's no secret door in the back with the real breakthroughs they're selling to the illuminati.

Other than that, I mean, I read alot of alternative and international news. I love science but I dont have a dedicated source for this type of information. Do you?
I read the science section in the wall street journal, there's a few professors whose e-mail chain I'm apart of that are always e-mailing news in certain fields, science daily, etc. There's a few other sites you can just google. Find the ones you're interested in.

There's also the reports by universities like Stanford but that's the really technical stuff that can be hard to get through.

There is such a thing as private science. For profit, proprietary labs. And they can afford much more qualified scientists that your state University. Don't be dense on purpose.

Are we talking about being informed on the progress in fields of science in general or specifically wanting to know what a for profit research lab has accomplished to this point?

C'mon :smh: Of course you're not gonna get any headway in to that. Pretending like it's an option is being dense. Might as well say you want the research Big Pharma has to be published to the public so you can see where they're at on cancer.

This stemmed from cloning. If you want to know the progress that has been shared in the scientific community you can find out. If you want to know the progress of Elon Musk's cloning research team then sorry you're out of luck.

FTR, for the crazies, I just made up that Elon Musk has a research team for cloning but feel free to follow up on that.

Which is why he said labs can be as transparent as they choose. You acted like everything was a Google search away. As if publicly published research is the pinnacle of scientific achivement. Science IS hidden. It IS kept within closed off, private groups. And it's likely more advanced than anything made public. So again, it would be difficult, to say the least, for anyone here to really know what's realistically possible or not. We've not even got into classified govt. research.

Dude came off more like he didn't know much at all as if even google was a foreign concept.

I didn't think it needed to be said that something private is going to remain private until they want to step forward and reveal their findings.

If you want to know classified **** go become a corporate spy.

He came off like Google was a foreign concept? I guess I didn't read it that way. It was too obvious to need to be said but it kinda sounded like you were saying it didn't exist or had no significance. All good.
