Scientist should really break down the scientific method, years of research, their falsifiable and repeatable proof, the defending of their thesis amongst peers, acceptance by those peers even the most stubborn and skeptical, their articles and books etc etc into easily digestible videos for the population at large so atleast it's not so offensive when this comes up.
 
What's funny is how "offended" folks get when you tell them it's flat or say you believe it could be.

And :rofl: at the notion that "Scientists" breaking down their proof in Videos is trust worthy and moreover that it would ever freaking happen. Real Scientists have forgotten way more than they've ever told the World about, but somehow such a Video would explain the roundness and end all flat speculation.

It should be offensive to anyone who considers themselves a thinker that anyone can just make videos without an ounce or real research or PROOF, then when confronted with a request that every great innovator, philosopher, scientist etc has had to endure, criticism, making sure it's falsifiable and repeatable, defending your thesis amongst your peers... that instead of doing these things they tuck their tails or dismiss you as not open minded. This is YOUR new theory, the burden of proof is on YOU. If you can't do that then I'd be embarassed to back that horse that easily.

That's not the point. Point is how easily folks watch some youtube videos nowadays and are ready to run on a theory, maybe real, knowledgeable folks should latch on to that.

You generalized something like you've watched every Video ever in the history of videos and found not one of them offering proof but rather all of the Videos content providers tucked their tails and dogged the question.

This is an old thread, on an old topic that's been done a few times on NT, we've been over the different aspects of this many times. That's you assuming from your brief stint that I have no history on this. I've said my piece, have fun on your journey.
 
Yea some folks do watch 1 video or several for that matter and then latch onto a theory and run with it. "Some" folks do.

Then there are other folks, and you've generalized them all into one group. That's not like you.

It matters none to me how many times you've done this or how old the thread is.

If it's been covered by you so many times in this thread, I'd expect you to be a little more eloquent about it, yet all I hear is judgemental generalizations and speculations, that's really all I'm saying, in regard to how you came across.

I'm not trying to paint you one way or the other, you are the artist, those are your words, I'm just the observer.
 
I just feel bad for flat earthers at this point

I didn't come in here to prove or disprove its roundness or lack thereof either.

What I did come in to say is, I've somehow watched at least 5+ hours on Flatness over the passed few days and :rofl: I'm quite sure I'll log at least that much more, this stuff is wild.

Anyone who thinks the Earth is flat (or even thinks there's a 0.0001% it's true) needs to be locked up somewhere far from the rest of us evolved humans. Put them in the same 10,000 feet underground dungeon with inbred Trump supporters/Republicans

Gravity itself disproves the flat earth theory and would go against planet development as a whole. Every sizable celestial object is spherical in shape. Also, if you track the night stars, you can literally log how they move across the sky. Add that to the fact that there is NO EDGE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. I just don't get how people entertain this thought. If you're curious as to how the world is round, just do an hour of research and you'll have all the proof you need.

You should be drug tested if you think the earth is flat ...its really pathetic and embarrassing that there are adults that buy in to this garbage ...but hey people voted for trump so it should be no surprise that there's people this stupid

I'm pretty sure even a child can appreciate the curvature of the earth from an expansive shore, but that may be just me.

hey man, don't put that on drugs... I'm sky-high right now, but I know that sky rests around a spherical Earth.
 
What I don't get is Flat Earthers say we are the center of the universe which means they believe that the sun revolves around us.

Which also means they believe the sun and moon are real.

So my question is how is EVERY OTHER PLANET, MOON, SUN a spherical shape and ONLY Earth is flat?
Seems illogical to me.
