seriously, man. bubble wrap this guy up until sept 11 versus Zona. jugs machine and route trees only until then :lol:

all reports say he walked it off and walked all the way back to the locker room. but i read ONE tweet that mentioned he did yell pretty loud when he tweaked whatever it is he tweaked.

I remember seeing him roll around in pain after that hit vs. Denver last season :frown:

Do y'all feel like he's a risk for a serious injury every season now? I feel like safeties are just going to continue to take his legs out to tackle him and that scares the ---- out of me.

Saw pics of Mitchell in camp in a Gronk elbow brace earlier, crazy how dude's back in pads after that scare. Really rooting for dude,seems like a good dude with a lot of heart. He was also cooking with Jimmy G when he came into the game before gping down.

*whew* at the Gronk news,wouldn't mind shutting him down until the season starts for precaution :lol:

For real though this year's team is probably the better rounded pats team as far I can remember. 

I'd go as far and say it's on par vs the '04 team. Actually it's even better. That '04 team was all around solid as hell.  

This year's team is even more loaded and has lots of depth which I love. And yes it's better last year's 10-0 start team

The reason I said '04 team because they won it all and I'm not gonna compare '16 pats to the '07 team even though it's better than the '04

team because it didn't hoist the Lombardi at end of the season. Period. 

I expect nothing less than a Super Bowl this year (not any different from every year) but this team is just....I dont even know man. 

I'm anxious to see the season kick off and see how Aladdin does with the team rallying around him and then once I return in week 5

Good to be back, guys. This time I'm gonna try to be more consistent posting and whatnot. Easier to do now that my life is in order 

and not struggling with dope on/off. So tired with that way of living. It's insanity. Few months clean so ima keep on truckin bros.

The main thing that I took away from Garrapolo's drive at the end of the first half was that he looked comfortable in the pocket, I saw him step up in the pocket when he needed to and he looked poised, which is something they point out in the broadcast.

I know it's just pre season, but it was still good to see that type of drive convert for 6.

just watched the replay.

offensive line definitely looked better but wasn't great. especially running the ball where they didn't open a ton of holes. our backs had to make quite a few cut backs on some of the bigger gains we saw. down by the goal line...nothing. the line couldn't get ANY push at all. pass blocking was definitely better though. really allowed jimmy to sit back and go through his reads

chris hogan played well, especially on that two minute drive right before half.

blount, gaffney, white, and bolden all played well. bolden with the one mistake, but otherwise played well.

TEs were great. our TE group is pretty impressive, man. going to be real fun to watch. AJ derby making plays!

defense is looking awesome. the DL causing all sorts of problems and doing it consistently. collins is EVERYWHERE.

jimmy played pretty well. i feel comfortable with him for 4 games based on what i've seen so far, but it is only preseason.

was hoping to see more from dobson. wish he caught that ball for the first on our first possession even though the throw was behind him. after that, didn't really hear from him. i still think he can contribute.
 
Vollmer done for the year also. Shaq will be out for a little too. Injury news today smh

Dion Lewis sounds like he might be able to return later this season. sounds like it's a clean up job rather any type of reconstruction. back in time for the stretch run/playoffs? i'm alright with it. RB is the one position where losing any of one our guys isn't a huge deal. as long as they don't all go down.

Vollmer injury sucks. not so much because he's a world beater, but because i don't trust Cannon one bit. not. one. bit. Vollmer's career in NE is probably done, I'm sure. injured way too often. definitely need to hit T in the draft this year. i was expecting it this past draft, but now it's a huge must do.

cuts have started...notable ones include donald brown and EJ biggers
 
A healthy Sheard would be awesome to start the season.

i'm totally fine with it. also, with Brown getting cut, if we don't sign anyone, DJ Foster will likely make the team (practice squad at minimum). he's shown some pass catching ability from what i've read. i think James White is a pretty good option, though. but we def won't have that shifty RB that can shake and bake. loved that about Lewis. running him while spreading it out was a guaranteed 4-5 yards. he would always make at least one guy miss.
