So to recap:

Chandler Jones' final year

for

Cooper
Bennett
Long
2nd Rounder

**** yes :pimp:

This soundbite is still :pimp:

Dudes want to clown Tom etc but we all know what type of player he is. He gets hit several dozen times a year and hasnt missed a game save for a serious injury.

Dude is a beast and ate everything Von served him. Hes far from scared

So Knighton has a good reason to ball out this year. $900,000 base + $4 milly worth of incentives.

Panthers rescinded the tag on Norman

We've already done our damage in free agency, but man thinking of him in a New England uni...

although this suspension is ridiculous and pretty annoying, a part of me thinks its a blessing in disguise.

as big of a brady mark i am, i really want to see Jimmy G play and i think its important we do for the future.

also i know itll never happen but itd be dope if we packaged both 2nd round picks and moved into the first round and drafting Ezekial lol

we used a 2nd rounder on Jimmy, right? all he needs to do is go 2-2, steady the ship until Brady returns.

I like Jimmy, give the guy a chance, Brady's time is coming to a close.

jimmy needs to shine so we can trade him. no way he resigns here

im not with the idea of trading Jimmy . if they actually think he's the next guy , they should do everything they can to keep him

so i like Jimmy. and i like the rare looks that we've got from him. but i don't see him wanting to stay put and keep sitting behind 12. i don't see 12 hanging them up for 2-3 years at least, and i doubt Jimmy stays that patient.

but who knows. maybe he doesn't see it that way. and maybe the team pulls the plug on 12 before that happens

I know we have OL needs and such but I want Henry bad.

I think he has the potential to be great and I think he would fit the Pats perfectly with Dion Lewis as the change up back.

I'll be rooting for picking him tonight.

will also be obviously rooting for picking Jack.

here's my thoughts:

Cyrus Jones: this guy is just a classic Belichick DB. small, not overly fast but rather quick, tough, film junkie, and can contribute on ST (punt returns). he has nickel and/or slot CB written all over him. he can play physical and help support the run as well. pretty much exactly what Bill loves in a DB save for a pure shutdown guy like Revis. decent pick IMO.

Joe Thuney: another classic Belichick OL. he's a natural guard but played every position on the line. big kid that's strong. from what i read, needs some fine tuning, but we have Scar back ready to do all that. great pick IMO.

Jacoby Brisset: was susprised with this one. i think it has 100% to do with them knowing Jimmy isn't going to be back after his rookie contract expires. from what i read, this guy is a great decision maker. great competitor. he's definitely got great size. sound familiar? it'll be interesting to see a) how he pushes Jimmy, b) how he comes along over the next couple years learning from the GOAT. i would have rather taken a flier on Cook (despite the leadership questions).

Vincent Valentine: this was a reach. this dude is a project and could have been landed way later in the draft. he's a guy that would have benefitted from another year in school from what i read, but he left early because he had some injury issues this past season and it made him realize he didn't want to risk serious injury which would totally screw him over. Awful pick IMO.

all that said, the thing everyone keeps saying is NE clearly does not have a lot of holes to fill. but i hope they grab a LB and WR in the next few rounds. wouldn't hate a RB, either. some nice RBs will be available.
