1) pass defense and pass rush (lack thereof)
2) turnovers
3) play calling on that final 2 plays

there's your loss

defense is just atrocious right now. lack of a legit #2 corner is rough. Logan Ryan, Justin Coleman, Eric Rowe...not working at this point. they're not even close to their guys, and when they are, they foul the receivers. if Bill is going to rush 3 or 4, he's going to have to figure out a way to get these guys to stick to their guys. none of this soft coverage ********. otherwise, you might as well blitz the **** out of the other team and allow our guys to cover for a shorter period of time. their man defense just lost guys time after time.

edelman fumble hurt bad. real bad.

i will ALWAYS hate throwing a fade or lob at the goal line. we've got the perfect WR/TE group to run slants and quick outs or back shoulders. perfect RB to come out of the backfield and find space. hate the fade.

Brady made some KILLER and clutch throws down the stretch. but that INT earlier in the game was unacceptable. no reason to throw that.

gotta shout out Blount and the TEs. they played real well.

something to watch is Brady's knee. limping pretty bad post game. that low hit from Kam :smh:

please rest him this week. do not make him play Sunday. rest him two weeks if you need to.

Sources: #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski suffered what is believed to be a punctured lung on Sunday vs. #Seahawks. But could miss just one game.

We need to finish strong and get home field advantage this year. Multiple teams with 2 losses, we'll need at least 12 wins.

I'm not even sure home field helps us with this defense :smh:

we have zero homefield advantage from our whack *** crowd. even Pete Carrol called out our crowd saying they were super tame and quiet. he's right too.

but at least our offense doesn't have to worry about crowd noise at home

That's true

And I saw those comments; he's right too. The crowd in Seattle doesn't let up. I'm thinking it'll be different during the playoffs though.

i hope so man. usually when it's super cold, the fans are getting boozed up before to stay warm. so that's good

the last game in old foxboro though against the Raiders...the snow game. man...crowd was LIT for that. we need THAT crowd

kraft added too many "rich people" seats in Gillette. not willing to stand, not willing to yell. ah well, what can you do.

When I was there for the Broncos game in 2014, the crowd was electric. Everyone was standing the entire game. I loved it.

no Gronk which i think we all assumed. but jabaal sheard was left in NE, didn't make the trip. wasn't injury related either.

he's the only dude that can actually stir **** up in the opposing backfield when they turn him loose. looks like his behavior or effort has got him in bill's doghouse. spent a lot of time on the sideline last week, too. no longer drinking the Patriot kool aid, i guess

@RapSheet
#Patriots pass-rusher Jabaal Sheard did not make the trip to SF to play the #49ers because of a performance-based decision.

Wth is up with Hoody ostracizing the best talent on D? I've usually been willing to give him leeway with his personnel decisions but all the moves he's made this year have yet to pay off all the while the defense looks worse each week...

First Chandler, then Collins and now Sheard...Butler better not be next :smh:

too much tinkering with player rotations. get your best players on the field, period.

feel like no one on this defense knows what their job is anymore. there's no reason for players like Sheard or Collins before he was moved to be part time players. throw em out there and let em do what they do. i hope this doesn't start creating issues for Hightower now.

That TD pass to Mitchell was nice :pimp:

:pimp:

2nd half was great on both sides of the ball. as soon as Brady took his missile lock off Edelman, the offense starting moving right down the field. gotta spread the ball around. and Brady's shuffling and sliding in the pocket was tremendous today. bought a lot of extra time.

defense in the 2nd half has been steller. hope they close it out strong.

Just some quick thoughts.

Brady's movement in the pocket has been in the phenomenal the past few seasons. Seeing his play at age 39 is amazing. I'm definelty not taking seasons like this for granted.

The defense still scares me vs. good offenses, especially ones with top tier RBs.

Ghost still worries me moving into the playoff push.

Seeing Lewis back and looking good is exciting. Splitting him and White in the backfield with Gronk, Bennett and Edelman should be a nice combination.

If Mitchell can become a legit receiving option, the only thing holding this offense back is the play of the line.

How serious is Slater's injury?

Hopefully Sheard being a healthy scratch can motivate him moving forward.

welp...our defense is going to get worse:

Patriots DT Alan Branch is being suspended four games for violating drug policy, sources tell ESPN. Tested positive for marijuana. Appealing

he's HUGE for the run defense and clogging the middle. god damnit, man

Fitzpatrick, who should look like a bum against any average defense, is going to go for 275+ and 2-3 TDs this weekend. hopefully our offense can just hang 40 on the Jets (which is asking a lot)

I bought tickets to this Pats game this sunday vs the Jets...

My FIRST nfl game ever and Tom Brady is a game time decision??

Please somebody tell me that we're just trolling the Jets

he is 100% playing. don't worry

i'd be more concerned about Fitz tearing our defense a new one

Gronk out with a back injury :x

Josh McDaniels needs to spread em out and let Brady do work. getting too cute with this play fake BS. gotta run the ball to use that **** and we haven't done that.

defense dropping 8 into coverage and hoping for the best. doesn't work. gotta get after Fitz and make him look like Fitz, not Drew Brees
